Why not, just bring in a new head coach each year and serve them up. Makes me wonder what the level of dysfunction is that Aikman mentioned.

I said in another thread, IF this happens, it means he already have a replacement in his pocket. My guess would be Quinn or Harbaugh.....remember, MM was hired coz his postseason expereince.

Well if anyone wants that hard nosed football that SF and Tenny plays Harbaugh would be the guy. He would be good for Dak and our running game for sure. And he could bring in his old pal Fangio

Ok I'm willing to play these maybe games but only if every suggestion starts with "Now Jerry would have to give up the power" because once again what makes you think Harbaugh would come here to be Jerry's puppet for low pay...

That ain't happening.....Payton signed a new deal before the season started. Likely cost a 1st round pick min......

That doesn't mean Jerry doesn't want to try to figure out how to get him "cheaper."

I'm not saying it is a good or bad idea. It just seems like there is someone out there that Jerry is alluding to specifically and that if that person becomes available and is interested, he'll get the job.

I wish.
But i believe it might be Zimmer and the first MM perceived screw up he'll be gone and the Zim will take over.

I agree 100%.......to be honest, IF this is case, I think he's considering whether or not keeping MM is worth losing Quinn. In other words, fire MM and maybe KM, promote Quinn to HC. Think about what just happened with MM but you have this hiring cycle's hottest assistant coach on your staff. Only one way to keep him.......
