1100 yards 9 tds with 79 receptions

with all the hype coming out of this off-season, I was kind of underwhelmed

it was a solid season, but not great and he had a bad drop in the final 2 minutes of the playoff game
Too many drops, runs poor routes and has. lot to work on.

He was supposed to be a yac guy, but we havent seen much of that.
Good but just ordinary good.

Had him on my fantasy team. Expected more from him.
Seemed to have a really good 1st half of the season, then really tailed off.
Almost seemed like when a QB loses confidence in a WR, except in reverse.

Just out of curiousity how many drops did you think he had and where do you think he ranks on the list of NFL WRs/TEs for dropped passes?

I'll give you a hint. It's not in the Top 20. It's also less than half what Chase dropped. Also less than Keenan Allen. Or Travis Kelce. Or Tyreke Hill. Or Justin Jefferson.

PFR has him dropping 8 balls. 6.7% of targeted passes. They have Chase with 11...

Maybe the drops he had seemed like more because some of them were key situations. I don't know, but his hands haven't been great.

well you would have to get a avg on that to be accurate.
if those guys had way more targets than cd, then they would have more drops.
like rb's the guys with more carries usually have the most yds. so you need to look at avg per carry.

Interesting. Another stats site had CD at 4, Chase at 9 and Jefferson at 6.

But even if you go by PFR, his drop percentage was also better than Chase's, slightly worse than Jefferson's.

People make way too much of his drops. He's clearly not some sort of outlier here. You know who is a freak? Devante Adams. That dude dropped only like 1% of targets this year.

Ya, like i said, maybe it seemed worse because of when some of the drops happened.

Good trade potential. Need OL. WRs are not a great asset if the QB can't get them the ball. Run, run, run.
Trade Lamb, lose Gallup and Wilson in FA...and possibly we lose Coop, let alone Schultz, lol. Run the ball with what OL exactly? Confused is me.

The one that always sticks with me was the one against Tampa over the middle. It was a high pass but he should have caught it. Resulted in an interception.

After watching the quality of WR play for just these past 2 playoff games probably has skewed my judgment somewhat but not totally.

I restrain myself from deep WR discussion and especially watching other teams WR1s and sometimes WR2s even produce the way they do in comparison to the much hyped Coop/Lamb/Gallup trio.

Underwhelmed is a very appropriate description for all. Not just Lamb.
