That's always a possibility these days. Payton has a ring, is in his 50s, and may not be one of those guys who wants to coach until he's 75.

TV guys make great money, don't have to log the work hours of a head coach, and they stay connected to the sport.

NFL sucks. They will have TNF exclusive on Amazon, no dual channels, not even the NFL. Well, they may for the 2022 season, then after that it is exclusive. Can't remember for sure.
So they will force people to sign up for Amazon Prime to see the games.

Talk is that Al Micheals will leave for Amazon also.

ESPN and MNF has been the same for a while. no Espn not MNF until ABC carries the playoffs. NFL doesn't care it's the $$$$$$$$ that matter.

I don't see why al Michaels would leave, he's already close to retirement, he doesn't do every snf game anymore
