For those who say Dak was not the same for the rest of the 2021 season after his calf injury

I wasnt wrong about anything. The team lost. Just like the Packers lost (with a farrrrrrr better QB) according to you. But hey. Whatever you say. By the way. Tom Brady and Josh Allen really padded their playoff stats resumes yesterday according to your logic right?
Actually no.

Padding your stats is when you're down by a lot and throw a few TDs in garbage time, like Dak against the Broncos for example.

Allen was never down by a lot and Brady brought his team back and tied the game. Both guys team lost because the other team had the last possession.

In the NFL, every team is good on any given Sunday. We all know this, so let's stop with the lame hatred. Bottom line, if your Oline stinks, your Offense is going to suffer......no matter who you have at QB, RB, TE and WR. Period. End of story.
No hatred on my part, stop with the blind homers view and many others will stop also, you keep fueling it, your counter view buddy pappy stopped for a while you should try it too. As I have told you before I have no problem with Dak, do I think he is what you and Jerry try to sell, no I don't. Can they win with him, yes but he needs to seriously step up his game, you just can't have all pros at all the O positions like you want and them have a top D in a salary cap league.
PS.
Tony Romo doesn't play anymore 5 years out.

OP literally posted something and then called it out for incorrect info.

You can't make this stuff up :lmao::lmao:

Interesting. LOL. Because in 2019 when we went 1-4 to start the season I was told by many on here that Dak was padding his stats even though he tied and or took the lead in every game. So when HE DOES IT its stat padding. Thank you for showing everyone your agenda lol. Good day. Troll

I didn't create the meme. Simply shared it. I did explain that turnover # amount was wrong by 2, but everything else was correct.

Lets look at the entire season shall we if we want to play stat debaters...

Pressure(hurries, hits, sacked) 18th overall
Times pressured per drop back: 26th
Blitzed: 1st
sacked: tied for 20th
Seconds to throw the ball before pressure: 11th +....like 10+ quarterbacks in the 11th - 21st range with 2.4
Most penalized team in football....cowboys

Yes the OL play degraded as the season went on however no one watches every OL in football. No website matrix has the cowboys OL ranked outside of the top 10(pff 1st, most in the 5-7 range). Dak was the most blitzed quarterback in the league and the OL managed to place him tied for 20th in sacks and 18th overall in pressures, 26th in times pressured per dropback and was right in the middle of the pack for time to throw. THATS INCREDIBLE with the injuries we had. Just shows you how bad most quarterbacks have it.

Even with the OL getting older and regressing Dak still sits behind one of the top OL in football. Enough with this ****.

Williams was just a hot mess and the OL was terrible in the post season however that is no excuse. Mahomes and Burrow overcame damn near the same horrible OL play the first game.

penalties and drops need to be fixed asap
It's not a top Oline. One of the worst at run blocking in the whole league. Opponents simply rushed 4-5 while dropping back 6-7 in coverage. That's why this team struggled against better Defenses. Being 1 dimensional allowed opposing Defenses to pin their ears back and blitz our QB while covering our receivers. Hardly any Offense will succeed under the same circumstances.

That # is wrong. It was 16 turnovers: 10 INTs and 6 fumbles lost.
You're wrong on this one, I'm indifferent towards Dak, but 16 turnovers is what Dak had for the season, turnovers and turnover worthy plays are different.

Definition of turnover worthy plays according to off
"For quarterbacks, there are two ways to achieve a turnover-worthy play: throw a pass that has a high percentage chance to be intercepted or do a poor job of taking care of the ball and fumbling.

Let’s start with the coulda/woulda/shoulda interceptions. Remember, we’re isolating the quarterback’s play in the PFF system and his grade on a given play will encapsulate his decision, timing and accuracy for the throw. With that in mind, there will be many times in which a similar throw will net a different result. Misreading coverage and firing a pass to a linebacker will result in the same grade whether he catches it for an interception or not"

Sure looks like Dak was not the one who changed for the worse...

well, some of those stats highlighted is because he became spotty with his throws....he started to hold on to the ball too long because he didn't trust his throws any more, he wasn't throwing with anticipation. that led to the pressures and sacks...his completion precentage dropped as well.....so his play did drop significantly and these stats prove it

How/what is a “turnover worthy” play and how is that calculated?

Ok. So compare Dak's 18 turnover worthy plays to the rest of the QBs in the league. How do their numbers compare? There has to be a reason the meme creator highlighted Dak's 18 turnover worthy plays as a positive.

Really? Did you see the ranks next to each stat? Doesn't look like much of a drop. Actually looks close to the same before.

It only took him 8 days.

He's also going to win Comeback Player of the Year over Dak.

It took the Bengals* 8 days, not Burrow. If we go by your logic:

Dak has the same amount of Super Bowl wins as Rodgers since he came into the league. Dak = Rodgers, then right??

The Cowboys record from the first half of the season to the second half of the season speaks for itself. You can either believe the schedule got harder or the team got worse. Why would the team get worse if Dak didn't? The witnesses (all of us) know what we saw. Dak got worse.

Well in theory the team could get worse without Dak falling off at all.. but in the final analysis no sane person could argue that Dak played worse after the calf injury than before.. We all watched.. We can debate and discuss the reasons behind his drop in play whether it be crappy o-line play, crappy play calling, no running game.. whatever .. but no one can deny that it happened. My hope is that it came down to his simply not trusting his body.. After that calf injury his mechanics dropped off the cliff. I trust Tom House to get that straightened out this offseason. The question is what can be done to keep him from regressing in the second half of the season again.. Obviously not getting hurt would help a lot..

Did I say that back in 2019? I wasn't even here.

You should bring this up to them, not me.

P.S. I told ya so. You just don't know football, bro.
