It all goes back to Jerry Jones and his mentality that all players and coaches are "plug and play". A championship team is like five star recipe. Not only do you have to get the right ingredients but you have to use them in the correct amounts and at a specific step in the recipe.

Jerry think that if you just get the higher quality ingredients you don't need a competent chef.

My guess is that JJ told MM is in charge of playcalling and MM. otherwise honestly MM should have seen the play calling and taken it over. Or if Dak knows the playbook well enough he could have let Dak call it by what he was seeing in the field..

Maybe MM didn't want KM as OC but Jerry wouldn't allow him to get rid of him so Big Mike let him fail on his own.

Can anyone tell me that Jerry and Stephen didn't have a hand in this? Everyone wants to keep blaming McCarthy and yet there are several rumors out there where Jerry demanded that L'ael Collins be played over Steele because he was being paid. Just consider that,

Then some blame McCarthy for any lack of accountability when it’s the same story with Jerry over and over again. A players contract will always dictate playing time.

If I was told that I couldn’t hire my entire coaching staff and had to keep this kid and let him call plays with his high school mind and that I couldn’t override him he’ll I wouldn’t have helped him either. On top of that Jerry made him keep 3 other coaches.

Why sign up for that job in the first place? And then you're setting yourself up to be fired by sabotaging your own staff.

Do you think it’d boil down to some trivial and childish stuff such as McCarthy being offended that Moore was handed play calling duties, so McCarthy wanted to prove a point to Jerry that Kellen isn’t ready? Would Surely McCarthy wouldn’t be willing to sabotage an entire season, but who knows.
Man i'd like to hope not....but with this organization you just never know. 10 years from now we'll read a story about how dysfunctional it was here and the truth may come out. You can't give this organization the benefit of the doubt. I think Mike to get this job would do anything he could. I think he saw that not many organizations were going to make him head coach at that time and the ones that would've weren't as talented. It was a good gig aside from working for Jerry but I feel like he was willing to do and say whatever he needed to get it. So i'm sure he convinced them Kellen Moore is cool to bring on...I think at this current state? I honestly believe in the playoffs he let Moore sink his own ship....maybe he assumed he'd get a HC job and dip out....I think it will be telling if Moore leaves and we see who they make in charge of playcalling....

Does Broaddus have valid points ..or just blowing smoke ..?
ding ding ding. The 2nd thing me thinks. He has a history with GB and MM. HE WAS FIRED HIMSELF while at GB..(B. Broaddus). While I like Bryan, u must be able 2 see thru his narrative at times. This 1 here I call bs. I will say, I am on MM fan.

..wow! ..that is weird. Why wouldn't you aid your OC? You win as collective group.

MM starting to sound stranger by the minute. Hope Jerry takes the axe to the guy.
