It's not Dak's job to repair his own head. Not to mention how difficult that is. Most people can't.You could say so, yes. No worn out overpaid guys, just talents and proven "down in the trenches" players. I mean take Steele for example. He had some good games but they didn't let him finish because of an underachieving starter.
Now bring up all that depth I say and get rid of the shiny forefront, which is kinda rotten beneath the paint. And tell Dak "we're starting over, you won't have the weapons of last year, so you gotta be the weapon this year. And YOU tell me what you need for that apart from capable receivers. How do we repair your head?".
It's coach and staff that need to fix it one way or another.
