Dak is getting paid $160 million dollars

Dak is getting paid like an elite QB

Now if he wants to give back $100 million dollars and get paid like an average QB we can take it easy on him.

IN the meantime suck it up!, you asked to get pod like your elite, so do it
Dak has never had kid gloves on lol….he came under attack when he was making 500k a year. I think he knows the deal and what’s gonna happen lol.

I always supported Dak. I just didn't want to pay him $40 million a year. I wanted a better deal for the team because of the cap. Then again, I stated back then no one player was worth that percentage of the cap. But because he got it, I said no excuses and he'd better play up to it. He did until he got hurt this season. Then something happened and he wasn't even remotely close to playing up to it anymore. Then he and the entire team choked against the 49ers. You can't be that inaccurate and make that many QB mistakes in the playoffs if you're paid like that. Did he cause the loss? No. It was a myriad of things. But he contributed....and so I call him on that.

I hope in the off-season he fixes whatever it is that was bothering him because he's capable of stellar play. He proved that against TB in game one. But I'm not going to sit back and excuse him either.

LOL. He was destroyed when he was on his rookie deal as well. The reason people despise Dak is because their hero was benched for him. They will say things and literally make things up about his play and him to try and prove a point.

You think Dak played like a 40 million dollar QB this year?

I didnt say that. All I said was he was destroyed before getting paid. Where did I say he played like a 40 million dollar QB?

Here let me do exactly what you did. Make something up. Do you think he played like a 40 million dollar QB until his calf injury?

If you are constantly going to bash Zeke, the OL, WRs like Amari, Jerry Jones, the defense that gave Dak a league leading amount of TOs as new opportunities to score and Kellen Moore for Dak’s play…

Then you have ZERO business acting like Dak is some victim to unjustified criticism and that there are so many posts criticizing poor Dak..

Dak player like crap against the Chargers in game 2, because the Chargers have their base defense as cover 2 shell. There was no calf injury for Dak-stans to latch onto.

Dak’s best game ever as a Cowboys came against the Bucs in the first game of the season, with basically no pre-season to get up to speed, yet none of the Dak-stans use the excuse of ‘coming off a surgery and no pre-season’. Coincidentally the Bucs almost played exclusively man coverage abd didn’t shadow a safety over the side of Cooper and the OL and Zeke were pass blocking like mad.

Of course when Dak broke the Cowboys TD record against the Eagles pre-season roster, Dak-stans were quiet on the calf injury, just like on the second Commanders game.

Dak was supposedly back against Atlanta too, when Dallas won 43-3. Of course most don’t realize that Atlanta, like Denver, played aggressive man coverage. Denver actually didn’t play much zone, they were able to press and get pressure from the left side because Smith was out. Dak had one of his typical Andy, horrible pocket presence type games. Denver though didn’t blitz much either.

Reality is, Dak’s calf was fine. Teams just started playing more zone and backed off the blitz. And with the RG no longer produced an unsustainable close to 6 YPC, Dak was exposed as a mediocre passer that can’t anticipate WRs being open or go through his progressions properly.

Dak simply started getting more of the same treatment as far as defensive looks are concerned as passing QBs have gotten to some degree. I basically was saying for years that Dak gets to see man coverage because of the OL and RG that any QB worth a grain of salt would exploit regularly, especially with our WRs. Dak walked into a real QBs dream since he stepped foot in this organization because of how dominant the OL and RG were.

Now that the chinks in the armor regarding the RG and OL started coming open, Dak is being exposed for what he is.

Looking back on it all....when the SF game begins to wear off a bit.....

It just seemed like after the NE win....during the bye week when Dak was hurt....the organization decided they had the division won and they went into a shell.

It was about not getting hurt.....Dak especially.

They tried to coast from there and the hunger and fire were gone.

They figured they could just turn it back on whenever and were wrong.

Anyone who says things weren't way different after NE wasn't paying much attention.

why no one took it easy on him before the contract. In fairness no one took it easy on Hutchinson, Henson or any of the other past QB. I think it pretty funny that most of those who complain about the contract complained about Dak before the contract. Fact is he will catch heat until this team wins a championship. I watched Meredith and White take heat they did not deserve and even saw Aikman at the tail end of his career get booed.
Come on dude...we have a LOT of people around here "dont; criticize Dak". Like he's the special child that needs protected.

They couch it with "FAIR criticism is okay"...but that simply means statements they agree with.

Stats? You can parse stats in many different ways...sometimes with clever intent other times accidental accuracy. A stats is a stat but wheat it means is interpreted with many factors involved.

I do think this last game i saw more people with fair criticism of Dak....but there are still some hangers-on.

He doesn't suck it up he ignores it. And maybe he shouldn't.

I'm not saying to listen to any average joe disgruntled fan. Maybe Kurt Warner.

Agree that Dak doesn’t deserve kid gloves.

But Mahomes doesn’t either as he also failed to live up to his contract yesterday.

That is brutal, using the name Mahomes in a remark about Dak.

Mahomes has about 7 playoff wins and a Lambardini Trophy.
Dak has 1 NFL playoff win besides greatness at Mississippi State.

They also kinda knew he wasn't going to take off and run....and stopping our run game didn't require loading the box or selling out to do so.

That's huge. Tough for any QB to overcome, especially with limitations.

If they fix the OL and run game he can be an effective QB in this about to be poor NFC.

If they insist on trying to feature him to justify the contract it'll be more of the same.
