Not that any HC in Dallas has any authority, but Jerry makes sure of it with things like this. Smh...Big Mac has zero power. It is being eroded daily by Jerry and Stephen Jones.

Well it is stupid to say it to media, but..... I think anyone would consider Dan for HC. He didnt say when or in near future.
It does put pressure on mike, to be better, and I think he needs to be pressured.

I think Dan passed Kellen this season as a next HC prospect for when jerry tires of Mike.

But also keep in mind dallas has had a bad defense for a long time, and usually they could not get turnovers.
this season, they got plenty of turnovers, and diggs set a record for int.

The defense played better overall, even though not a great defense. So it was smart move to lock up dan with an extension,
and let him know that he could be the next dallas HC. Nothing wrong with that except for jerry answering questions he should say no comment to.

We all wanted dan to stay and now he is, and maybe he can keep the defense as good as it is or make it even better.

They should draft heavy defense again, and maybe 1 or 2 OL guys if they can get some good ones, as average isnt going to help much.

the main problem with offense is the coaches, and jerry will probably keep same guys, so I dont see any chance to improve there with the draft.
