I don't believe it's scripted. I believe it's manipulated, mostly to keep games close. Even though the JAX/NE champ game in 17 looked exceedingly obvious that no one wanted the Jags in the super bowl. I have no other explanation for a D that had 5 calls against it all season, only to have 6-7 in one game. And the majority of them were highly questionable. And then on O, every time ol' Bortles got called every time he made a play. And it was some drive stoppin' stuff.

Its scripted to keep games close . . . because of in-game wagering . . . you can make a bet at any point in the game. . . close games get more action

I was kind of shocked when I first found out about it. I'm just surprised that there are people that are still unaware. "Sports Entertainment" does not have to be real.

Sometimes certain games make me wonder. Take the Eagles/Bucs game in the regular season. The spread was Bucs -6 1/2. At the time Tampa was 5-1, Eagles 2-4 and looked like crap. Who do you think most of the money was on? Who stands to gain the most if the Eagles cover? The Bucs got out to a big lead, then took their foot off the gas allowing Philly to put together a few scoring drives, losing by 6. I'm not saying I believe something fishy went on, but red flags went up. I'm an X gambler. I'm glad I quit 25 years ago.
