Carson Strong.....sigh.....had a td....completely under threw it.
Thoughts on Sanders...Cincinnati?
Yup....not feeling it either. Thought you would see a guy a little more explosive off the line....he's pretty lean. Late 4th...5th roundNot a fan.
Feel like the Titans could be his team...Guy I'm really disappointed in...Carson Strong. He really played well @ Nevada...but he's been under throwing balls all day....late with reads. Cowboys probably love him.Ok Travis Jones is ridiculous. wow.

Kid made money today....he sure looks like one of those rangy center fielders that are getting harder to find. Solid 2nd round pick.Draft Pitre.
I think he’s a solid top 50/60ish prospect…dude had 60+ pressures last year which is a HUGE number. Anxious to see his testing numbers.
2.5 sacks
If you have that many pressures without actual sacks then 1) there’s a serious problem with the metric “pressures,” or 2) he doesn’t know how to finish.
Id actually disagree and argue it was somewhat fluky. I’d be more concerned with someone with more sacks a low pressure number translating bc it isn’t sustainable.
Mathis is a good example. When you watch several of his sacks the QB is effected by outside pressure around and basically walks right into Mathis who didn’t seem to do much in terms of pass rush moves.
I bet I could dig up a handful of edge prospects with more sacks than both Sanders and Enagbare but I’d take them first in a heartbeat.

He’s a 242 lbs DE/Edge that isn’t fast and agile enough to play LB.
He’s collected just 13.5 sacks and 24.5 TFL in 42 games. Comparatively, look at what guys Jermaine Johnson, Karlaftis, Thibedeaux, and others have done in less games.
“Pressures” is a flawed subjective metric.
Sacks, TFL, FFs, et cetera, are objectively observed and definitive.
I think he’s a Top 75-100 guy or roughly a 4th round prospect type.
I agree to an extent…but guys can do practically nothing and run into sacks at times so I think you have to take all of the available data into consideration when evaluating the player.
I don’t see Sanders as a 1st rounder by any means, but I he’s a solid pass rushing prospect with some upside and the lack of sack numbers is fluky due to the high pressure percentage. TBD on the athletic profile until the combine but on tape he appears to have some burst and bend.
We just have different perspectives on this one.
You can look at any pass rusher’s sacks individually and determine some sacks were just right place, right time. That of course is true
However, taking the “pressures” stat at face value, if someone is getting as much pressure on the QB as Sanders is purported to be then that would only increase his probability that the end result would be a sack.
