The 99 Rams team was pretty revolutionary and he had a good little run with the Eagles in the late 70s-early 80s when they were historically one of the worst franchises in the NFL for the previous 15 years.

Sam Mills is probably the best player in USFL history. I know Reggie White played there too but he wasn't as dominant as Mills. He's long overdue and had a long career in the NFL with the Saints and Panthers. Too bad he and Cliff Branch are getting in posthumously.

Jags get their first hall of famer in Boselli. Erik Williams was better but he'll never get in the hall.

As for Art McNally. The only officials that should be in the Hall of Fame are Red Cashion because his "FIRST DOWN" call was iconic. And Ben Dreith for this call alone.

For those who are to young to know. There was a writer from the Minneapolis Tribune who publicly stated in the 1980’s he would NEVER vote for a Dallas Cowboy in the HOF.

It partially explains why great, great players from the 60’s and 70’s never got in or had to be wait….Drew Pearson etc. He was always more deserving than Lynn Swann.

That clown should’ve had his vote revoked.

This is a disgrace but also feels like part of a Jerry backlash.
