I'm starting to feel sorry for the guy. The national media has turned McCarthy into a caricature of a bumbling idiot at this point. He's getting made fun of at the NFL Awards in front of his players and after the show, his owner is out for dinner with his supposed replacement.

Wouldn’t surprise me if they were dining together. JJ feeling him out to see how much he needs to pay him to make him a puppet. Just because it shows in the NFL a HC makes X amount of money don’t mean that’s all that ends up in his bank account. Not sure he will give Payton the power he needs..

He is being to loyal to his buddy that coaches the O-Line. If O-Line was not a train wreck this year we may be playing Sunday.. This line coach has to go..

Andy Reid has been coaching for over 20 years and hos clock management has always been his biggest issue and it still is

When you run a clown show, people think you are a joke. JJ 100% created the situation for his coaching staff and players.

Incredibly dysfunctional organizational dynamics and poor personnel leadership/management.

Mike McCarthy has brought this scrutiny on himself by taking the job with the Cowboys as Jerry's lackey. Quinn runs the D, Moore runs the O and Mike sleep walks on the sideline. McCarthy appears to be totally disengaged from the football team.

I was optimistic about McCarthy coming to Dallas, but it's obvious he has not been put in a position of influence and looks to be nothing more than a mediot punching bag. He likely had no other options and is using this gig as his golden parachute into retirement. Another brilliant move by the Cowboys front office.

Don't kid yourselves, Payton is not coming Dallas, ever. He will be in high demand and he will take the job where he gets the most control over football ops. That does not exist in Dallas.
