This is a very good movie on Warner and how he got to the rams.
It is a little short, needed more to it.
Also they left out the nfl europe phase.

But it is a great movie, and after seeing it, I wanted to watch the 99 season of the Rams, but on you tube
I could only find 2 full games.
1. his very first game , they played the ravens who already had a good defense, but shaky offense.
2. the SB, with Tenn, which was a good SB, it was posted by nfl. That was his only SB win.

Kurt makes a couple of mistakes, but also some really nice touch passes. He threw to a spot, not the WR.
here is that game one. you will have to click on the watch on you tube link
also if anyone finds more links to full games of that 99 season post them here.

That was a cool game. I watched the whole thing. Who wouldn't want to watch his first game?

Kurt seemed a bit off and a little nervous. But man did he improve in a short time from that game. I guess he got more comfortable.

I watched the SB game and they said that on 3rd downs that season for all games, he had a 137.9 rating ! that is uncanny.
He also threw 41 tds ! lol
He said that in arena football you had to score every possession to win the game usually,so he brought that to the nfl with him.

To me the SB sort of exposed Mike March as not a great oc, as he called 18 passes in a row at one point, and they mostly threw every play.
even though they were ahead the whole game and def was getting pressure on kurt.

I think they pushed vermeil to the curb so they could make mike hc, and the team went down hill each year, and march went downhill as talent left.
It was a case of all that talent and good defense making him look better than he was.
And having kurt made it all work.

Some of this stuff is coming back to me now. I remember Kurt getting hurt in the first half of the SB. With a RB like theirs, you'd think they'd throw in a few runs.

well tenn had a good run defense, and at first they got 0-2 yds per carry, but later in game I think they could have run more.
you should watch the SB, it was exciting in 2nd half.
Funny they gave tenn a td on a run by george, and then announcers saw that his knee was down and ball was at 1 yd line.
evidently no ram booth guys saw it so no challenge.
then at end of game tenn last play is 1 yd short of goal line.
also kurt threw a 73 yd td on first play after tenn scored to make it 16-16 . nice pass and catch by bruce.

If I remember correctly that pass to Bruce was under thrown. He had to stop, undercut the DB and then he was gone. Bruce was a superior human on the field LOL. That DB had no business covering him.
