He’ll need 10 all pros on O for that.

How many of Troy Aikman’s OL sucked during the 92-95 run? Must’ve been nice to have a HOF RB and HOF WR to depend on, too.

I know Aikman is a far superior QB, but even he had a lot of elite talent on O and D to help him win 3 rings, not to mention a HOF coach who knew how to build and discipline a team.

I know people go overboard on the whole "Dak needs a team of all pro's.." funny part is, look at the teams that win the SB, they generally have the best roster that year..lol. To Troy, he did have a great roster, but he also beat teams with great rosters to win...thats what makes him Great for me.

the QB also has a huge impact on the OL

None of Brady’s OL have gone anywhere else and been great but are “great” for him. The reason is that he reads the defense and knows what’s coming and gets rid of the ball in 3 secs

give our current OL and it’ll be great again

Dak can’t read defences and holds the ball and runs into blitzes all the time

Dak killed blitzes...Now if you want to say when teams went full zone and rushed 4 he did not makes the reads fast enough to beat the zone or missed open guys...you would be more correct.

Yeah, you totally expected Matthew Stafford to play in a Super Bowl a year ago, before he got traded to the Rams.

Don’t hurt yourself trying to understand this sport.

Most people should have. Matt Stafford the last 5-6 years has been playing excellent football. The team going 7-9, 8-8 wasn’t because of him. Dak’s QBR this year was 54. Matt’s QBR has been under 60 just once in the last 6 years. It took a loaded team to get him there, yes, but he’s always been capable

Can’t debate that.

Everyone is “capable” with a stacked team. That’s the point.

Stafford couldn’t win a single playoff game on a lacking roster. He only reached the playoffs 3 times in those 12 years.

Dak dealt with a complete garbage starting RB and the most penalized team in the league this year.

Jimmy Garoppolo got to a Super Bowl and almost won it. Let’s pretend Dak couldn’t win big with the 49ers roster.

You put Stafford on Dallas, I guarantee they wouldn’t have lost to 49ers.He can actually read the D and see the field, and would have already let it rip, where Dak would have been sacked.

Nice to see he's let that go. ".......I didn't execute it the way it should have been executed.......you've got to go back and you've got to calculate for human error, it's as simple as that shrug......."

You know. Regret over a season ending mistake in the playoffs for yourself, your city, your team, among others.......that kind of thing can really eat you up inside and be almost debilitating for many.

But he seemed fine. Glad to see he won't have to go through any of that.
