Whatever, Deion.

Let's be real...before the 90s Cowboys even won their 1st of 3 SBs in 1992, no one was 100% sure if Troy Aikman was going to show up in the playoffs because Troy was only averaging around a 57% completions percentage with only around 2,350 yards and 10 TDs passing during his first 3 seasons. It's not until that 1992 season when the Cowboys drafted all of those stud players to place around Troy, along with the best Oline in NFL history, plus a top 10 Offense and Defense that one saw Troy's numbers skyrocket both during the regular season and playoffs for the next 5 years (1992 - 1996). After the '96 season when many key players had left to other teams via free agency, the Oline was no longer as dominant and Jimmy Johnson and other key coaches were no longer around did Troy Aikman no longer look as dominant.

Come playoff time, Aikman's performance elevated big time. He achieved another level of play. Dak hasn't so far. He still has time.

Not totally true.

Cowboys would have beat the Buccaneers if it weren't for Greg Zuerlein missing 2 kicks, plus the officials helping out Tom Brady as usual. The Cowboys lost by 2: 31 - 29.

Cowboys lost in the wildcard playoff game to the 49ers by 6: 23 - 17.

Cowboys lost to the Cardinals by 3: 25 - 22.

Cowboys lost to the Raiders by 3: 36 - 33.

So the Cowboys were within 6 points or less in 4 out of their 6 losses (including the playoff loss), with two of those losses being by 3 points and another loss by 2 points. So don't be saying the Cowboys folded like cheap suits when they got punched back by more talented teams.

Year 26 of “If we coulda just….we almost beat them…”

That's a pretty ambiguous way of describing it, isn't it? They didn't "show up?"

It sounds like he's saying the current team isn't as motivated to winning or it could be that they were not prepared. It might also mean that they just aren't talented enough.

I mean it was obvious that they came out flat. However, it's not like got blown out. They came out just short of time. They should have won.
It's true that some Cowboys played poorly.

First home play-off game you should be come out of the gate like a rabid dog. There's a time for a tactical game of chess, but there's times when you've just got to wind them up and let them go.

Because we have a HC who's built for pancakes.
A GM who helps prepare the other team i.e. going to run Zeke up the middle.

No he's the exactly right. Doesn't need a blow out loss to prove that. They just can't perform when it really counts. Losers.

……great. Yet another ex-player that wasn’t impressed with our 12 wins in the NFC East.

This is just more of the tired argument that 1. A great QB needs a great oline to be great or 2. Troy Aikman was largely carried by his teammates and could not manufacture points when his supporting cast was not as good after some attrition (players and coaches).

And thus a defense for the way Dak was performing is kept alive. Dak largely played crappy ball since the Denver game. He’s got to be way better or it will be more of the same or worse seasons going forward with him.

Deion saying dak sucks and isn't anywhere near as good as Troy.

i don't know why you didn't like garrett, he's the same as dak. nothing different about either
I knew him personally.....I didn't like him. The Garrett Sucks was just a joke. I always wanted him to succeed. I would never root against a Cowboy, no matter how much I may dislike him
