Yikes, that non answer actually says a lot. I would expect at least one to leave then. Likely Cooper, since Jerry's already bashed him to the media. I'd bet they ask Lawrence for a paycut, but there's no way thay dude accepts.

I read earlier somewhere he's already refused. Doesn't surprise me at all if that is true.

Lawrence will save 19 million as a June 1st cut.. like the player. But we did win without him… Cooper I hope we keep. Restructure his deal that saves 12.5 million. Dak will be restructured no mattter how y’all feel.. that puts us 24 million under The cap. Other moves can be made

It is really too early. We got free agency coming up in two weeks.

Then the Jones' family vacation during the first week of free agency. Then a week for them to sift through the garbage left in free agency.

Way too early.

In all seriousness, how on earth is it too early? What is going to magically develop as the offseason progresses?

The Cap Fairy is going to show up and dissolve many of the horrble deals he has done recently?

What is so uncertain that makes things so much in a state of flux?

Answer? Not a single thing.

Folks are gonna be mad if/when one/both are released rather than traded.

Twitter Cowboys fans think each could get Dallas a first round pick. :muttley:

“Too early”? You’ve got about two weeks to figure it out Little Enos.

March 8th - 4pm ET: deadline for teams to designate franchise & transition tags.
March 14th - 12 Noon to March 16th - 4pm ET: FA negotiating period.

Wonder if they’ll cruise around Europe with what’s going on. Where is a good locale to ignore free agency in a yacht this time of year.

Wouldn't mind letting Lawrence go if we'd replace him with Von Miller, but I don't expect that to happen. Then, I wouldn't re-sign Gregory, either, and let Miller and Parsons be our primary rushers whether we're in the 3-4 or 4-3 fronts.

So they have to make a decision on Lawrence and Cooper by March 8th?

He knows Cooper is gone and probably Lawrence as well.
Son & Father in an arm-wrestling about these two players. Stephen wants to pull the trigger...Jerry says "hold on - wait a minute"

I know Cooper ruffled Jerry's feather missing time for the reason he did, but getting rid of him now after calling this a "win or else" season would be either monumentally stupid or revealing--probably both.
