Washington tried to trade for Russell Wilson

According to Rapoport they offered multiple 1st round picks this week but were turned down by the Seahawks.

Can we send them Coop and Donovan Wilson instead for those picks?

Hawks will trade Wilson......this I consider a gimmie and D.C. or Denver will probably be his next team.

If they truly offered multiple 1s and they turned it down then Seattle is dumb

Maybe not if the news spurns the Giants and/or Eagles to get into the bidding. The Giants have two Top 10 picks, both of which are higher than the Commanders pick, and Philly has three picks in the first round and both those teams have been rumored as sniffing around Wilson too.

And it's likely that Washington isn't going to go away any time soon either so that offer might be still floating out there. Seattle is probably smart to hold Wilson, at least at this point, to see what kind of market develops for him.

Goes to show you Rivera is all in to win now!

it goes to show that they don’t have a QB. Heinicke played well, but he’s not on the level of Russell Wilson. And if that team hopes to ever turn a corner, they need a QB.

i'll believe seattle trades #3 when i see it.
if this were a better qb draft...they'd take that and find his replacement.
this qb class aint worth a damn up top...or down bottom.
they'll keep theirs or trade him out of conference.
i think they keep him.

Can’t blame Wash for trying. They’d be dumb not to try

Unless Seattle had another trade for a QB in the works, there is no way they should trade Wilson.

It's no secret that Philly wants Wilson as well, and they have 3 first round picks this year. Maybe they're waiting to see what they offer?

Maybe Wilson doesn't want to play for Washington? Could be other reasons.

Bird in hand always a safe bet vs more in the bush
