It’s not that terrible.

It’s getting something for somebody you’re about to release and getting $60 million in cap over three years

Depends on how they do offensively honestly. If we're still average or better it'll be looked at as ok. If we're bottom 3rd which is what I believe then it's pretty dam bad.

Have not read but the first two pages so far.

So before the trade, many were saying just get something for Cooper and dump the salary.
Don’t just release him.
Now that it has happened, they same ones are whining about it.

This place is freaking unbelievable.
I am not happy with what we got in return, but not going to lose my cookies over it either.
Better than an outright release.

We like our guys. Except our No. 1 WR.
The bewildered Dak and the fat and meandering Sequel Elliott continue to lavish themselves with huge salaries.

I'm gonna laugh when Coop has a big year and he signs with another team after this year and the Browns get one year of Amari and compensatory 3rd round pick for a 5th round pick lolololol

So, Copp is gonna have a big year with the Browns, and then the Browns are gonna trade him?

It's
  1. Lamb
  2. Gallup
  3. Wilson (who will probably be replaced via FA and/or draft
  4. Fehoko, Brown or new
  5. Fehoko, Brown or new
We have 1 wr...lol

We don't have Gallup or Wilson signed Fehoko and Brown haven't proven anything.

What's worse, Gallup won't be ready for camp and may not be ready for week 1. Unless we let him walk. This is starting to feel like a rebuild.

Ok i dont like the 1st round turning into a 5th round pick...but lets step back a little...its a WR, They are important but they are also abundant...A rebuild would be much more movement at other positions. Reality is your odds of hitting on a WR are by far higher than almost all other positions you draft.

If he was half as good as he thought he was, he would have at least gotten a workout the next season but no one wanted to even give him a look because he was done.

Lets not mince words: the Baltimore Ravens had the worst WR group in the NFL and Dez looked like he belonged in that group. That was the only time he was even able to get on the field and after seeing that nobody else considered giving him another chance.
Wrong

Dez turned down a 3 year offer from the Ravens after he was cut from here. He didnt take it because he wanted to play on a team with an actual elite QB (unlike the one we have here).

Dez in 2017: 69 catches 838 yards 6 Tds

Amari in 2021: 68 catches 865 yards 8 Tds

Adreme’s logic: Amari good, Dez bad

Make it make sense

Not only will I not admit I made a mistake I will say it again with an implied exclamation point.

Hmmmm....

Which of the remaining WRs will be next season's sacrifice?

Gallup, because he has a new contract?
or
Lamb, because of the high draft pick used on him and/or he will be due for a payday in the near future. (bonus reason... "sacrificial Lamb" has a nice ring to it)

My early prediction is Lamb.

You're doing what you always do. Ignoring context and nuance and arguing semantics. Your youthful hubris doesn't allow you to see this so you keep on going and going on going and going. You argue just to argue. To *******ize Rene Descartes' famous quote, 'you argue therefore you are'.

Now go do your homework. '
And like I said you are a FOOL if you think they will release Lamb on his rookie deal lol. You can word it whichever way you want to.

They weren't abundant when we needed one.

Rumor-

Apparently Amari and Dak had a bit of a shouting match
after the playoff loss to SF.

Allegedly, Amari called Dak a "black Kirk Cousins".

When you insult the $40 million QB, he cries to daddy.
Then, daddy trades you to Siberia (also known as Cleveland).

The thing is, Amari's not wrong.
Maybe Dak’s response was that’s funny coming from a fat, poorly conditioned WR that limps around and doesn’t go all out.

Top ten WR since he's been in Dallas according to statistics.

But I never expect much from the Rowdy avatar group.

I'm not surprised by the trade.....but you gotta just shake your head by the process we got here. We have by far the most incompetent front office in the league.

Ok......so you want to move on for Cooper....ok

Don't tell the entire world you are going to cut him if you can't find a trade partner.

And the real funny thing is......they are doing the same thing with Collins and D-law. Just dumb. :banghead:

So did the front office really say they will cut these players.
Or is it just the media saying that, because it may be obvious or guess work they would cut them.
