Jarvis will be released and will be available for less money than we would've had to pay in a trade. We should've at least got Jarvis IMO

So you’re talking to 8 teams and the best you can do is a 5th and swap 6ths? This got to be the dumbest trade in cowboys history, you literally gave a first for the same guy just a few seasons ago, he’s still young and on a good contract. This front office man, what the hell.
If anyone still believes this FO is capable... then you to are an absolute IDIOT
This team is ridiculous. Stephen is a moron. Luckily we have 18m in Zeke and are damn lucky to have him.
So a first + a contract and we get a fifth back basically.
If it weren’t for access journalism the media would rip Stephen for the clown he is.
Mickey tell me why this smart…save me!
Depends on his jersey salesZeke is next on the list. Team screwed themselves cause they couldn't legitimately move him this year, but next year this time will be the last you see of Elliott here.
Should have never traded for him to begin with...hated the trade then, hate it more now.He had to go. Getting rid of this salary was a smart move!! What was a terrible move was paying him in the first place. At least they corrected that.
I don’t get why people go on message boards just to be negative and crap on anything positive lolDelusion....

I agree. It was your typical Jerry desperation move for a WR. Just one of the many foolish decisions during the Garrett era. A whole slew of them that snowballed into that.
You are right, but in 2018 this team needed Cooper because the WR corps was guys like Allen Hurns, Deonte Thompson, and Tavon Austin. Now they don't need him. The Cowboys have CeeDee Lamb and enough money to bring back either Gallup or Cedrick Wilson now at much, much less than what Cooper cost.
You don’t get a comp for cutting him. Only if his contract expires.Wouldn’t the comp have been as good or better?
I knew that, but I’m 50 and the downhill slide has started upstairs. You don’t get a comp for cutting him. Only if his contract expires.

No, it is the cost of having a QB. Or thinking you have one. It’s called the price of overpaying for a quarterback
