I don't expect you to listen to this 24 minute ego massage but in it he most definitely makes that statement.

Our #1 priority. Bring back a career underachiever and add yet another bad contract to the books.

Funny if it wasn't so sad.

I'll wait to see the contract that is given to Gregory before I feel one way or the other. This team can use him, but history suggests you better build in an out to that contract within the first couple years.

IMO, If they sign Gregory, it's going to be a massive ovrerpay.

I am ok letting him walk and signing a cheaper DE / Draft. I'd much rather pay for a guy like Kearse and spend on a free agent starter.

Priority 1: hand a nice payday to the player who made the biggest blunder of last year.
Players have brain farts, it happens. We should've focus on one bad play.

However, Gregory hasn't been able to be consistent throughout his career. I feel like he should go to a place like Jacksonville and enjoy a nice payday.

Well, the good new is - he probably has the least miles on him in the entire league for a 29 year old.

Give him a 4 yr deal, which in all likely hood would be a 2 year contract.
My guess is 4 yr 32 million, with a minimal cap hit the first year.

It's not one stupid play. I admit he had some really great moments, but you don't make a stupid mistake at a crucial point of the biggest game of the year.

I am OK with 94 coming back on a reasonable deal.

However if we do sign Gregory, I don't see Kearse coming back. Which is fine, we can move Wilson to SS.

I get this feeling that Gregory will get more money on the open market than Dallas should pay to retain him.
