Or stupid for fans to be clamoring for Jack as if hes better then smith.hes not i posted CLEAR proof
I understand. But drafting Jaylin was absolutely ridiculous, at least high in the 2nd round. You go in knowing it will be a year before you find out if he can play and at what level. And for how long. It would be one thing if it was a broken leg or a “standard” mcl, but that wasn’t the case with Jaylon. Myles’ situation was better, but not enough for me to draft him, especially after Gregory the year before. I’m ok taking an occasional gamble, but not back-to-back and both high picks.

Come home Myles, where you always belonged.

Yep he should have been the pick there.
But you know the FO here, and the stupid thoughts of pulling one over on the other teams. So they think they are.

Forget Wagner and all this taking his time, let me have Myles!! Your thoughts

Price being equal I’d take Wagner even with age difference
Mainly because one is an inside LB and one of the best ever
The other is an outside Lb and we have Cox at that spot
An outside LB who can’t cover is not what I’m looking for myself

Career stats mean very little. It's the trend that matters. Jaylon has been trending down ever since he signed his deal. Idk about Jack though.

How’s his knee?
Hasn't had any issues that we would know about.

Not arguing as I'd like Wagner.

But Jack did play MLB up until 2020.

apparently it was JS knee gave him better stats over Jacks knee need wake up call oh wise ones of super duper player personnel evals?

JS 74 games 33AV 330 solo tackles 10 sacks 6 FF

MJ 88 games 41AV 335 Solo tackles 6.5 sacks 2 FF

hmm this is why fans aren't GMs or good judges of payers all torpedoing JS and now in love with bringing in Jack..

JS had more sacks and fumbles same tackles in 14 less games. how can that be.. you watch every Jags game and know somehow MJ is better? doesn't look like it.,.

Oh well, using your logic I guess Dak is better than most elite QBs since he has better stats. The fact that Jaylon looked like a CFL player in most games shouldn't deter you from the fact he was great at tackling after letting the runner run into him 7 yards beyond the line scrimmage.

Jaylon had much more talent around him, which makes a difference.

But he wasn’t that great at it
His best 2 years was outside and he is a liability in coverage
That was the biggest knock on him there was his coverage was poor

Maybe a 1 year prove-it-deal special to see if Myles can boost his stock into a multi-year deal. 1year/$6M...will that work?

They are? Man, you are hanging out w/ the wrong crowd. I saw no such sentiment. You listenin' to Pappy again????

Lol, go back and read some of the posts posted when the comparisons were made. I remember some MJ would not be in the league in a couple of years because of his condition BUT the boys got a steal getting JS for a second rounder. Now I love reading the posts of the 4 Horsemen, they bring laughter to me every time. The only people the Horsemen would not attack from behind were my boys in my Avatar.

Career for both

JS 74 games 33AV 330 solo tackles 10 sacks 6 FF

MJ 88 gmaes 41AV 335 Solo tackles 6.5 sacks 2 FF

But how many of MJ's tackles were 10 yards down the field???? AND can MJ swipe???

Problem w/ Jack is that they've continually miscast him. Jack is an off the ball OLB. Period. He started on the outside and did OK. They then moved him to the middle. Despite the blatant signs that he did not belong there, they insisted. Finally, when they moved him back outside, he did well again.

However, here is why he's being cut. The Jags just switched to a 3-4. Jack does not fit in a 3-4. At all. He is a 4-3 OLB. And since he has a big salary, bye bye.

Yeah, but that was the homer's talking, guys who play up our every move. I know of exactly zero people who weren't completely POed at the Jaylon pick. It was a very unpopular pick.

Ah contraire. The Jax D was stacked when Jack first got there. 5th in the NFL in 2018. Jax then tore it down, but offhand I'd say Jack had the better talented D until 19.
