Like Cooper, if the Cowboys can get anything at all for a player they are simply willing to cut, they have to take it.

The Patriots might not be willing to get into a bidding war for Collins so trading for him makes sense for them too.

Two bags of Fritos and a piggyback ride won't be regarded as ample for La'el -- 1 bag and BB might suffice!
(H-m-m, maybe we could generously consider throwing in MM as a tempting bonus!) Shot in the dark.

So the great Bill Belichick has interest in La'el Collins. Belichick is not a guy who expresses interest in dumb players which leads me to believe a lot of the negative comments about Collins on this forum are not accurate.
By the way, the Pats took a 5th round pick from the Bucs for Mason. I would have made that deal if I was Jerry. Mason is much better than Connor Williams.

If they are dead set on getting rid of him, I'd rather just release him as a post June 1 cut. I only trade him for a 3rd or better, which is probably unlikely to happen...

I'd go as low as a 5th

For all those that said Collins was a jag, lazy, etc this kind of makes one take a second look. BB does not go after a player without really checking him out.
