So the Ravens have one of the best rosters in football and said “let’s get a ball hawk safety and a good pass rusher”. Meanwhile the Cowboys have talent issues all over the roster, more cap space, and seem confused how a phone works.

without knowing the incentive details or his medicals it seems like a better deal for the team than giving randy 13/yr for 5 years.

Feels to me that the team wants to go young (and cheap) at the position. Armstrong and probably a draft pick or two is my guess.

They got a better and (slightly) younger player for less money. That is a great deal.

I mean this is how every offseason goes. We get linked with a high tier or high-middle tier guy that can fill a need and 95% of the time it's just BS.

They clearly know they need/want a good DE opposite Lawrence. That's clear in them offering Gregory $70 million.

And yet, they are gonna sit on their ***** while most of the bigger name OLB/DE players fall off the board.

ZaDarius Smith was hurt last year but before that, he had 26 sacks in two seasons. Infintiely more productive than Gregory. We can't muster a $35 million-$50 million deal for Smith but Gregory? Hell yeah, pay that man.

Fans freaking out over losing out on a player with back issues…only on here…
If he was signed, then the same ones would whine…why sign a player with back issues….and rag on Jerry

Pay 42 million to an average QB, then remain paralyzed in FA with no plan as other teams get better around you

The best part in all of this will be the spin after. There is no doubt the team will try to then put on a public face that they liked what they had at DE.

But we know it's all BS. If they liked where they were at DE, they wouldn't have dropped their pants in a panic when Gregory was first going to bolt for Denver. Right there that told you they know they need a quality DE opposite Lawrence. But instead, they are going to let all these quality DEs go off the board in FA, bring back Armstrong and then try to tell us they were fine with DE all along.

There interest in free agents is about as high as my interest in this upcoming season.

So you won’t be around during the season. We don’t have to read all you BS and hate.
The guy had back problems. We don’t need that.
Losing Gregory and now this…both are blessings in disguise for long term.

And yet, the Ravens, who are a much better front office than we are found no issues.

So who to trust? Cheapskate Stephen or the Ravens?

That's a tough one.

I love how every year you defend the front office from criticism, they prove to not be good enough during the season and then you come back to chastise those criticizing the front office as if they had actually won something that previous season.

The criticism is warranted. The Jones' really don't know how to build a roster. Every year just continues to prove that.

Lol Dak has nothing to do with this. They have 28 million in cap space. They don’t want to sign anyone outside of this organization. Keep blaming Dak while Zeke is counting 19 against the cap.

I’m not saying it is Daks fault, I’m saying both things are bad decisions of a garbage FO
