Round 2 - Kingsley Enagbare, SC - DE, quick first step - Hybrid DE/OLB role. Rotational starter

Round 3 - Khalil Shakir, Boise St - WR - Dynamic athlete, quick twitch - WR3 from day 1

Round 4 - Christian Watson, NDst - WR - Value was too good to pass up - huge WR with speed - WR4

Round 5 - Neil Farrell Jr., LSU - DT - Run stuffing DT with some pass rush, rotational DT - possible starter

Round 5 - ZaQuandre White, SC - RB - Pollard/Zeke both might be gone next year - rotation RB/WR out of backfield

Round 5 - Jelani Woods, VG - TE - 6'7 260 TE - pretty raw and needs development but intriguing size and athleticism. Back up TE

Round 5 - Jeremiah Moon , Florida - LB/DE - Needs some work, but explodes as attacker, coverage skills average - Back up LB

Round 6 - Cameron Dicker, Tex - K - Has been money for Texas and Jerry would love the jersey sales....


This was how the board fell. I know it's very light on LB, which as of right now is a huge need. Hopefully they start signing some FA's to fill those needs, if not - then LB is a must earlier on.

The two WR prospects back to back was just based on best player available. This should give Dak plenty of weapons to ease the loss of Cooper.

I think a better DT needs to jump the WR's in the 3rd or 4th.
Maybe a better TE in the 3rd.

Not crazy about it, but better than what I am expecting at this point.

I really like both Penning and Watson, but I don't think either will be in that slotting.
