This is a unique rebuild because they are paying several underachieving contracts that they can’t shed quickly. They are admitting defeat through actions instead of by words

I’m all for it. Keep purging till the all the crap is gone.

Lawrence, Elliot and Prescott won’t be here when a championship caliber team finally hits the field

Re-signing LVE was a big mistake. He's had only one good season, his rookie. He's missed 19 games thereafter. The gap between LVE & Parsons was a wide one. Micah was a phenom all year long while LVE only turned it on late. Not good!

I think they all will end up starting save Armstrong and Fowler. Fully expect us to take DE at 24, regardless of who it is

I fully expect

Washington starts at WR3
LVE starts MLB
Armstrong starts RDE
, Fowler is rotation with Basham

So let me get this right......we are giving starting positions to a career backup and a LBer we exposed to free agency and brought back with value of only $3M? That's NOT an upgrade, in fact, it's not even on par with last season.

God knows I hope you are right ........We NEED to come away with one of TOP DE at 24 or 20 if it takes moving up.

Don’t mind these signings at all but we still need a starting strong safety and preferably a double digit sack DE.
Feel confident about get Kearse done but not so much about Smith or Hunter.

I believe we draft a Nakobe Dean, Leo Chenal to take over at MLB. It's a tall order to learn Quinn's scheme as a rookie and take in if it's not an early pick.

Same as DE. I want a guy like Mafe, Ebiketie. But it's another how much does Quinn trust them day one.

Parsons was a special talent and rare breed of player.

I am correct to assume only Washington is expected to start? Armstrong, Fowler and LVE are depth. Can't imagine they're expecting bargain bin/low-cost players to actually start and have an impact.

These dallas employees will spin anything to try to make it sound good. These were trash moves and nothing more. He's saying he'd rather have 4 players than just 1is comical.

I would have used the Gregory money for other players but Randy going to the Broncos is a blessing in disguise. If you look at Gregory career stats you wonder what anyone was thinking giving him 70 million.

100% on potential.......they're banking on double-digit sacks from him.

lol@ the 4 for 1 spin... more like we resigned 2 guys, one who barely garnered interest elsewhere in LVE and we brought back a rotational guy.

We replaced Ced Wilson with Washington but still have a huge hole where Amari stood. I guess Fowler is the Gregory replacement. Did they forget we just lost 2 o linemen? How did we get better compared to last year?

Stephen Jones seems to think the goal of the NFL is to manage the cap. No, the goal is to WIN.

Our team had a first round play off exit, we lost significant pieces and the only thing we do is resign a rotational guy and a guy that most didn't want to resign to 1 year deals and a couple of bargain pieces. Anyone wonder why the Cowboys keep sucking?

At 30 years old with knee issues? I personally think Gregory was a product of the monster that is Parsons. I also noticed he never played well in big games. No show vs Tampa and San Francisco.

52 quarterback hits, 16.5 sacks, eight forced fumbles and one interception in 50 career games. These numbers are pretty good. If Gregory is on the field he is an exceptional player. The experts in the NFL who ranked him one of the top free agents are not all wrong. People are focusing on the penalty in the playoff game and ignoring what he does when he plays. He is disruptive and a playmaker. If his off the field issues are behind him he is well worth the $14 million a year. I would prefer him of Fowler.
