Well, the Rams have a FO that knows how to evaluate talent and not afraid to pay for it. They move on from mistakes and try to upgrade every position, no matter how much $$$ is sunk into it. They also allow their HC to create the culture. That will never work under bozo Sr and Jr…….

It is how every team with a franchise QB should be acting in my opinion.

Who cares about the CAP, deal with it when your QB retires and its time to rebuild.

If anything thing they should have learned last season is that you need to have impact players on your roster. We have added none this offseason.

It worked out great for them but at the end of the day they had to draft Aaron Donald and Cooper Kupp. They needed their two best players to show up when it mattered.

The thing is, the Rams didn't even start it. Philly was super stacked the year they won and Tampa Bay the year after that. The Patriots had most of the team deceived and had teams trying to emulate them successfully, but that's not possible when you don't have the best head coach of all time paired with the best quarterback of all time who is also willing to play for less money. You pretty much have to go all in and have a window at an SB and then rebuild, but for some reason, our FO thinks the objective of the NFL is to manage the cap and to trot out a team that is under the cap for the next 5 years. If McClay wasn't a genius at drafting, this team would be Dolphins or Texans status right now.

You can not just draft your way to a SB. You have to add talent on top of good drafts too. Imagine giving up a pick to get Wagner at the trade deadline that likely propels us past San Fran.

This, you aren’t going to hit on every pick in the draft, even the Pats with the best coach ever and one of the owners ever do not, that is where FA comes into play. Now you don’t have to in spending like a drunken sailor but you can’t shop at the Goodwill all the time either.
