Funny enough the previous record was the Eagles sending Wentz to the colts (it was over 30 million dead cap for Eagles). Now the the new record is another team sending another QB to the Colts

Well, that should prove interesting. The Colts are a somewhat desperate team resorting to desperate measures. It'll be fun.
Let's see how that develops. I can't help but to suspect they're throwing something against the wall to see if it sticks.

Man the AFC is loaded now. Bills/Chiefs are probably the favorites but there are easily 8 or 9 teams that could win the AFC.

Like the Bengals again.
They beat Mahomes twice last year. And even at their place.

They just signed Marcus Mariotta to a 2 year deal.

Reached divisional round playoffs 3 postseasons ago - then Luck retired.
Still an all-around solid team - that's why they enticed Rivers (he should have given stayed one more season).
HC Reich convinced Colts FO to go with his former protégé - but was burned by Wentz.
Ryan is worth the chance to get back to the postseason and challenge for the AFC.

Colts trying to catch a little of that Stafford lightning in a bottle with a QB that was better than his team? They do have a good run team and decent D but the AFC is going to be a tough place to play but they do have HOU and JAX in their division.

I would say Ryan is another Stafford waiting to happen, but he had his shots and some winning seasons. It's on Ryan as much as the talent around him.

Rodgers was the only veteran waiting to take a well-staffed team to the promised land this year.

he's an upgrade over Wentz for them. Colts have good WR/TE. and with that run game, Ryan could help them get over that hump that wentz couldn't

umm yes an improvement but sems this offseason the AFC has got all the big name signing especially at qb we call that a gauntlet, they will all knock each other off..the NFC should be tad easier to get through etc.

May not have been entirely their choice. Matt may have wanted out after they pursued Watson, and the had a deadline of today at 4pm. No one else stepped up to the plate in that short timespan

But when a defense knows your whole offense is the QB dropping back and they don’t need to defend the run it’s pretty easy to shut down a pass game
Rayan has thrown 600 or more passes in a season 7 times. That’s just crazy
