Cowboys were tied for the #3 seed. The #1 seed and the other #3 seed got worse this offseason. The NFC East competition is terrible.

Instead of improving, the Cowboys lost three of their top 15 players. And have more cap space than almost any team in the league. What are we doing?

Well everyone is on the Cowboys as to why they not being so active in FA and this is why. We only have so much cap and is getting out bid. When we trying to get a cheap deal we are blasted for low balling. Its a give and take situation. Best approach is what SJ laid out. Sign our own guys, build thru the draft and bargain hunt when we can. This is all this team can do until the free up more cap or have a good deal/trade on their plate.

One, they had the cap space to make significant improvements, at least in one area.

Two, Stephen's "best approach" has resulted in jack **** for a decade. We've made the playoffs twice in the last five seasons. Guess what? What Stephen is doing isn't working.

Three, the Cowboys wouldn't know a good trade if it hit them in the face. They just got taken to the cleaners by the Browns in the Cooper trade.

Problem is they freed up a ton of cap space and I think are 2nd in most cap space available. I have no issues with liking your team, but they restructured guys like dak, traded coop, and released Collins to help free up cap space. If they dont use that it was all for nothing. Especially kicking Daks cap number down the road looks terrible if you don't capitalize on it this year.
