Who’s Better?

Burks, but mostly on potential. It really comes down to how you define "better".

Burks is faster, more powerful, better at YAC. Boston is more polished and has great vision, but lacks burst.

There is really not an either/or answer to this question. Burks has been playing primarily in the slot.

Burks’ calling card was his speed for his size then he ran a 4.55 on a greased up turf at the combine where players were flying. His game speed might be a tick faster, but I don’t think he’s marginally faster than London.

Who's Boston?

Idk. When I turn on the tape and watch Burks he does have terrific playing speed. I don’t see Landon with that kind of burst. But Landon I think is the better prospect.

Not a big fan of London, and wary of Burks.

I'd go with Burks

Burks by a wide margin. A better question is London or Dotson.

Drake London or Treylon Burks?

In our world the question should be, "Which of the two could Dak find?"

If Dak isnt going to take a gamble on a WR that physically overmatching a CB, then I wouldnt pick either (we need a route running WR with separation, like Olave....though Dak didnt throw to Coop so that may also be a waste).

If Dak's overthrowing we'd take London (though I havent seen him falling to 24 on any board).

For me Dak's problem is underthrowing (low and behind), now if that's the case Burk's physicality maybe the better option.

Just about any measure of performance you look at. Opponents faced.

I mean I guess if you're only looking at the box scores...London got hurt this year but was on pace to have a better year than Burks.

Do you take into account route running, film, catch radius, etc... or are you more of a stats guy?

Both. London is a day 1/2 Ed McCaffrey type WR who someone may reach for.

London
is slow out of breaks
will most likely have NFL corners sitting on his routes
has trouble eluding route redirections
down field routes are slow developing
will have trouble getting separation
not much of a run blocker
moves more like an athletic TE

Burks
Quick and urgent to get past press attempts
Suddenness to turn and present on underneath routes
Runs routes with proper leverage and turn acceleration
Access to second gear when needed
Excellent run after catch ability.
