You say that like it's a bad thing. It's no secret that I use his analysis every draft season. There may be a few guys on here that spend hours going through multiple game films of every prospect, call their scout friends and ask their opinion, and try to project how their traits will translate to the pro game but the rest us have to rely on someone that's good at what they do.

The bottom line is it's just somebody's opinion and arguing about which prospect is better is probably one of the most pointless things fans do in the offseason. The answer won't be known for two or three years. London will most likely be a good WR how good is yet to be determined and by a lot more factors than just how good he looked in college.

Perfectly fine if you're going to use Lance as your go to dude just think you should reference him if you're going to copy and paste what he thinks.

Regardless, it isn't just me who thinks London is better. I like to look at what multiple people who do this for a living think and the average rankings have him quite a few slots above Burks.

Maybe they're right, maybe not. Maybe they're just going along with everyone else. We'll find out in about three years. If it makes you feel better if he turns out to be better than Burks in a few years you can remind me and I'll admit you were right.

If Burks and London were both there it would be a no brainer for me and if the 30 visits are any indication the Cowboys think so too.

Keep pounding the table for him, maybe they'll pick him.

Oh if I had to bet on it they’d pick Burks over London in a heartbeat since they’re meeting with him.

Regardless I think taking another WR at 24 would not be a good move. London is the only 1st round WR on my board but even with him we already have too much invested in the position. We need a #3 as we already have a stud in Lamb.

I think building the trenches is the way to go. I think they are leaning that way too at least on the offensive side.

Sure hope so. DE and LG in early rounds would be ideal for me.
 
Both look like receivers who will have trouble separating in the NFL to me. The best receivers in the NFL right now are those who can gain separation like Kupp, Adams, Hill, Jefferson, and Chase. London if I had to choose but I think there are better options at WR in the later rounds.
 
Everyone remember Dez taking souls on sideline routes... what gets overlooked is that he was an amazing punt returner.





Dez didn't have a lot of shake and bake, but his 0 to 60 burst was incredible. He could accelerate like few others when he wanted to plant his foot and go.

That's my issue with Burks. You watch his highlights, and you never see him winning in a phone booth like that. Burks frankly turns like a dump truck, and it takes him 3 or 4 steps to reach top speed. I just don't see him as a guy who can beat NFL defenders in short areas... he will be a low volume sideline guy. His physique says Dez, but his NFL role will likely be closer to Michael Gallup.

London is kind of a one-speed guy without great explosion, but he has some shake-and-bake to him, and that's almost unheard of for a 6'4" receiver. He can snap off outs and hitches and throw some stutter-steps into his routes without gearing down. That ability to win short as well as win long is what puts him in a different tier of receiver to Burks.
 
Depends on how a team plans to use them. I watched Burks a lot more and he is a physical presence at 6/3" and 230 and his weight distribution is like Samuel, lower body.

However, he played on a team where is and the large running QB were the only real threats and they did have good RB's.

If Burks goes to a team that has a run threat QB that the back 7 have to be concerned with like BAL, BUF, CIN, AZ, KC or SD, he could be very effective as they couldn't sit on him but on a team like DAL, I think he's another Schultz only a better runner.

One thing Burks brings to the party is a warrior like mentality like Kupp, Evans, Thomas and Samuel. I think his RAC would be better than Lamb's because he really hasn't delivered what he did in the Big 12. But the secondaries are more physical in the NFL so I did not expect him to do that.

Ok so considering Kellen Moore has been incapable of getting a high volume of targets and manufacturing touches for Cooper / Lamb in recent years so London wins lol…

If Burks was a safety he’d be Roy Williams….and I don’t mean that in a good way.
