Pleaseeeeeee...I'll be invisible?:lmao::lmao::lmao:

If you would have paid attention last season to my posts EVERY SINGLE WEEK OF THE SEASON you would have known that we were just overrated and an easy out in the playoffs. You will once again by into the fools and I'll once again laugh at you and the others for it.

We’re they not around for the early 2000’s seasons? Those were horrific back when Jerry thought he could pick talent.
I'd argue this is signficantly worst to be honest. Reason being there was no realistic expections for the team back then.

Everyone knew the 90s talent was gone, everyone knew Campo was a temp hire, everyone knew we didn't have a franchise QB and everyone knew that the cowboys were in extreme cap hell.

That's not the case this time. Cowboys paid Dak the blockbuster deal, there coming off a 12 win season, they got rid of players to free up cap space to make some moves.

I mean it’s like they never witnessed the Campo years…..
There was no realistic expectations for the team back then so it wasn't really dissapointing. No cap space (in cap hell), temp hire coach, and no franchise QB.

I think this off-season hits worst then 2001 because cowboys actually have the tools to be aggressive/competitive (especially since the NFC isn't exactly loaded) but didn't get it done both last season and this off-season

If you want to say it’s a disappointing offseason? That’s fair. But they have had far worse offseasons is all I’m saying. We haven’t even had the draft yet lol.

We'll the original opening video I think that's kinda what the guy was inferring. Worst off-season based on the expecations (how good they were 4 months ago vs what they are now, and how the NFC is kinda open so now the time to make these aggressive moves). Basically getting 80-85% of the way there and then checking out

A majority here do too, lol.

Being a Dak fan doesn't mean we think he's as good as Aaron Rodgers. I never made that claim.

However, the other side of the argument liken Dak to a blindfolded Quincy Carter hopping backwards on one leg trying to throw the ball left handed.

There's no in-between. Dak is a franchise quarterback capable of leading this team where it needs to go. That's the bottom line. Does he have deficiencies? Of course he does. All players do. Therefore, it is the job of the coaching staff to put him in position to succeed.

That is where the Cowboys have been failing. And too many people fail to recognize it.

Fan One: He’s probably in the 10-12 range. He’s a leader—strong and determined, and we CAN win a SB with him, provided we have a good team around him, and good schemes.

Fan Two: He’s better than Rodgers?!?!?

Fan Three : Rogers ,Brady, Mahommes, Stafford/ Elite

Herbert, Burrow /Coming on strong

Dak, Allen, Cousins, Carr /Very Good / wait and see on elite

You set up a Straw man Bro. Not saying you did it intentionally. But yeah your argument was against something that was never said by most Dak supporters

(oF which I am one)

On the other side

Fan one Dak is a good Qb , He needs to take the next step, he wet the bed in the playoffs and could play better against better teams

Fan Two : Dak is garbage, He can't throw, He misses wide open receivers, got Amari cut. Ten toed sloth

Fan one was normal. Fan two was the “realist” who reacts to fan one’s statement like fan one is comparing Dak to Rodgers.

The team will prosper or fall with Dak and the ability to run the ball period. If either Romo or Dak in year one would have had this defense they would have been in at least in the NFC finals.
I would take the best offensive linemen in the first two rounds and maybe three if I took the Iowa center in the first. Martin can play right tackle if need be, I’d even consider him at center. Everything else is good enough. It will always be about Dak and being able to run the ball.

These off seasons and free agency are really a non-factor if you can draft.

On a slightly bigger picture level is that the personnel evaluation failures by the Front Office along with the second contracts recently given to 4 or 5 players is/did hamstrung this team immensely.

It's not a market thing or going rate of current positional value because that's a myth.

The Brown and Lewis contracts given last year were commensurate with production. There is what's called middle ground negotiating.

Lawrence(was), Elliott and Prescott are grossly overpaid and should not require the running narrative of needing so much more support in order to perform their specific job requirements on a much higher performance level than how they are performing now.

Especially the QB.
