Pro Day times can be dubious but it’s inline with his sneaky athleticism; tied for 2nd best vertical (38”) among edge rushers at Combine.

Right about what I expected for him…

Nothings changed for me…still high on him and would love him at 24.

Where Karlaftis makes alot of sense to us is Quinn seems to like to play alot of different alignments. Karlaftis can play a 5, 6, or 7 gap on either side of the line. And I would sleep on him being able to play wide in an 8 gap either.

I think he could be a better version of Michael Bennett in the pros

I aint no pro scout but he looks unathletic to me.
If we pick him I sure as hell hope im wrong.

No special traits for me.

I see AJ Epenesa.
AJ Epenesa was never going to be a pro edge rusher. He was incredibly stiff and had no bend. He was always going to be a run down player that had to move inside to stay on the field on passing downs. Karlaftis has excellent bends. He is a legit pro DE, where Epenesa really wasnt

Opinions vary. You asked.

I think the only chance Dallas picks a first round defensive lineman is if there is a clearly better player there than any OT available.

Well, it may end up being a DE since our owner has gone on record saying we’re planning on drafting OL at #24.

I like Green and to a lesser extent Johnson, but I dont see how you justify taking them with a DE of Karlaftis's caliber on the board

Forget about him. He would never pass the Dan Quinn arm length test.

I'm not opposed to him anymore. He passes the athletic tests, which was the main concern. I don't like the production, but a poster here compared it to one of the Bosa's, whose final year was similarly unimpressive, which was a good point.

Looks more like a LDE or strong side DE to me.
