Last years "great" draft yielded one miracle and a pile of nothing anyone wants to count on.

The one before that produced a ball hawk CB with questionable cover skills, a WR who not many think can be a 1, and a bad center.

And don't forget passing over a shut down CB in favor of RB with discipline issues, picking a sub par jag DE over a future hall of fame DE, and a seriously injured LB over on of the top DTs in the league Not to mention blowing three 3rd picks last year.

So you expect some rookies, the best of which will be taken (assuming no trading up) in the bottom half of the 1st round, the next not until 88, to be a great help?

I would agree that no one should be all "doom and gloom" at this point (if ever, considering the NFL is probably going to be around for decades to come). But on the other hand, after no even NFC championship games since 1996, no one should be all "sunshine and flowers" either....

So you want me to expect better from an incompetent group? Something about that just doesn't sound right. I have no faith in the Jones' . I just hope Lady luck throws us a nugget one of these years.
