Clarence Hill: Look for the Cowboys to draft a WR in the 1st or 2nd round

Lamb hasn’t been the 1 bc he hasn’t had the chance to…the Cowboys had 20 mil locked up in Cooper. He’s shown me plenty to believe he can be that guy as long as he gets a steady dose of targets.

IMO your trying to reduce risk and maximize value in the 1st round. Too much risk for me on Burks due to bust factor.
Agree with the risk part, it is a risk.

I would feel better about that if he had fewer drops with those monstrous 10.5" hands. Hell, that's throwing the ball into a laundry basket. However, in his defense he ran in traffic a lot and was always about what he was going to do with the ball and forgot one critical factor.

Burks is not like Witten, he seldom though about what he was going to do with the ball except go down.

There is going to be quality in rd 2 & 3, here is the PFN Board Rankings:

56-Watson
58-Pickens
63-Metchie
67-Tolbert
69-Moore
72-Doubs
75-Bell
91-Ross
98-Austin III
107-Ezukanma (Dallas Day)
114-Shakir (Moore was at Boise State's pro day)
115-Robinson

There is going to be a quality certainly at 56, but a few should even be there at 88.

CLARENCE THOMAS AND ALL THOSE SAVY BEAT WRITERS ARE WRONG ABOUT 98 PER CENT HAVE YOU LISTENED TO THAT IDIOT MEL KIPER HIS DRAFT COVERAGE IS LIKE A PING PONG BALL. HE SAYS ONE THING LEADING UP TO DRAFT THEN HE IS EITHIER MAKING EXCUSES FOR HIS PICK OR YEA'LL I GUESS THAT's WHY THEY PICKED HIM THERE ALL FRAUDS TRYING TO MAKE MONEY ON STAFF AT ESPN THAT'S IT IN A NUT SHELL

Murray wasn't a durable back even with the Cowboys
He'd missed so much time that they decided to make up for that lost time with carries in his contract year.

I do not think that was lost on Elliott and his agent when he decided to hold out.

The supreme court is weighing in?

He doesn’t have 10.5” hands.

Clarence Hill / not Thomas, works directly / close to Jerry. Hill, Archer, Watkins and Michael Gehlken are about as close or as accurate as you're going to get from reporters.

Kiper picks a lot of guys as agents pay him to pump their guy.

Maybe Clarence Thomas could help us win a Super Bowl though.

I really like Burks…a lot. I just think the 1st round talk is crazy as he’ll be a gadget player in the NFL unless he becomes a quality route runner.

There’s a lot of potential but also a bust factor with him compared to some of the other top WR prospects.

I’d roll the dice in the 2nd but not in the 1st…heck probably not in the top 40 depending on who’s on the board.

Watson is getting some 1st round hype now. I don't see him lasting to our second pick.

Pickens is my favorite WR. He's just never healthy. When healthy he is one of if not the best prospect IMO

And I wouldn’t be surprised at all if someone like Watson or Pickens are the best WR from this class in 3 years when the dust settles.

All of these dudes have their pros and cons but they’re all fairly close IMO. No one standing out as a lock top talent.

I like SMU's Danny Gray as much as quite a few of these options and probably a 5th Round Pick build the trenches in first 2 rounds
