Speaking of Twitter, the Kool Aid is flowing with Cowboys fans. "It's gonna be the best draft in 10 years and we're going to the Super Bowl."

Folks just keep setting themselves up for disappointment, continuing to have faith in this failed front office structure. "This is our year!"
Ha yep.

Even if we equal the 75 or 05 drafts I still dont think that alone would do the trick.

They still need a bunch from last year to step up.

The Joneses have been counting on that for years.

They both are around the same age with only a decade or two left max. Which one brings a SB to their organization first?
you should have stated ross was owner of miami dolphins

I will say dolphins will before jones boys. At least they are trying and if it doesnt work try something else. '
dont stick with losers for a decade then hire another loser.

He might have a better QB already. At least the ceiling is higher. Dak is better right now but won’t get any better than he already is. Tua is young enough that with some good coaching he can get better.
Yeah He is gonna get better too. . .

Dak 2.0

Agreed. But didn't we draft DE Spears instead of Rodgers in '05? Our quarterback at the time was a shell of his former self. Rodgers fell to our 2nd pick in the first round and we draft Spears?

It wasnt perfect but it was still among the best drafts in team history. Many teams blew it with Rodgers.

Don't forget we had the secret weapon that was Tony Romo that no one else knew about at the time!

That draft allowed Parcells to convert to the 34 in an instant.

The rest of his drafts were not so special.

His ceiling is like Lamar Jackson. If Tim Tebow kept playing that would be his ceiling too. That's why I would never draft a first read/run quarterback. It's hard for quarterbacks to go from that, to the pro level and expect them to start reading defenses and going through progressions. I never liked Tua, or Fields and Lance from the last draft. They're not ready, and you don't even know if or when they will be.

I will say, Kyler Murray did pretty good. Not great, but he adjusted well. Although he wasn't a strictly first read/run QB in college.
