Are we setting ourselves up to get fleeced in a trade?

Zion is a big dude
I like him and Green
Both of those guys have a chance of being really good players
I think this draft if it falls like most mocks are predicting is perfect for us to build up the interior oline
This offense is at its best when we can run the ball

I'd love to get Zion at 24 and Deitsche out of Arizona State in round 3.

I’m also interested in seeing Farniok more this year
He may very well push Biadasz to the bench
He didn’t get many reps but in the ones he got he played solid and has a bit of a nasty streak to him
I love an oline that can bully the dline lol

Wouldn't be bad. Especially if we go with Jourdan Davis at 24 (which I'd also love). Farniok and Deitsche in back to back picks would solve two of our big problems on the oline in one draft. Also, it'd give us a nice run stopping DT (I mention Davis because Mark Holmes reported last night that the Cowboys were having Davis in for a visit).

I know Jerry Jones has to be antsy after all the big time free agents are essentially gone. If these rookies don't play out of their mind and with a season possibly spiraling down the drain, I possibly see Jerry willing to pony up and make some blockbuster trades and give away 2 or 3 firsts. I would hope not, but if we don't do something soon or have the best draft in cowboys history, it's possibly setting the stage for such a thing. What do you think?
"WE" you a Jones? lmao

Well, not at the same time haha, though I might suit up when at the Jersey Shore this year. Been wanting to do that for a long time, walk on the boardwalk in suit.
Where exactly are you going in Jersey?

The suit isn't gonna be a problem. The Cowboys stuff probably will if you come across the wrong people....which exist every 50 feet in certain places.

Seaside Heights, where I go every year. I think the cuteness of the suit will outweigh the Cowboys decals.
Ahh...Giants country still. Not so bad.

That's my favorite shore site due to the food....and I was taken there as a youngster. Of course it's now completely different after two very unfortunate events in 2012 and 13.

If you've done it before there you know what you're doing. The kids probably like it. Enjoy.....

What are you talking about? Two to three firsts, for who? The ghost of Tom Landry? The Cowboys don't do that anymore. They strictly build through the draft. Can't do that if you're giving away your firsts.

Now if they make some crazy move to trade up in the draft, I see that as a possibility. But only a 5% chance of that.

Well, I go there every year, but this will be my first time wearing the suit on the boardwalk. I'm sure people will enjoy it, and it's always fun to take it out in public. Wearing it at conventions is fun. Wearing it in public is magic because seeing the reactions of regular people is usually a really cool thing to see. People are usually laughing about it, and the amount of people wanting to take pictures is always great.

Well, just remember that conventions are way different. It's expected.

People at Seaside probably figure you're hired entertainment LOL.

Boardwalk will be fine. Go into Beachcomber or EJs at night and you'll probably have people accidentally spilling beer on you lol.

You know what you're doing. I wasn't sure if you had ever been there. Just lookin out.

Yeah, I'm planning on avoiding bars while wearing it. Might walk into arcades with it, but I'm not going to go into any obviously dirty areas with it. I've worn tails there, which went over well, so this is just a step up hehe. Plus, I need the suit for conventions.

Cherish them, cause we got some standing in the cheese line times ahead unless we just totally kill this draft with all those 5th rounders..lol.
Seriously, at least we have those 4 5ths, if we keep em and hit on just 1 that can contribute would be solid, but they could also use them as leverage
to move towards a player or areas of strength in different rounds with those picks as well.
I hate when they get cute and waste those picks, and would prefer holding on to them in this draft.
This is a strange draft, some would call it soft, but there are talented players deeper in this draft than at the top.
I made a joke about those 5th rounders, but wait till we draft and see how valuable those 5ths just might be.
The draft is the only area we excel at, so hoping for the best.
