SOP for many of the league's teams over the last few years.
Chargers and Cowboys moving ahead with scheduling the joint practices against each other since their training camps are only 100 miles apart.
A number of teams wait until the preseason schedule is announced - then the visiting team for the exhibition spends part of the week at the host team's facility for the joint practices leading up to the game.

Yeah Herbert looked like Dan Marino even though Dak led the Cowboys on the game winning drive when they played the Chargers earlier in the season without Tank and Gregory.
