I figure we should have a thread where we can give our draft hot takes and prognostications we can revisit down the road.

Here's a couple of mine:
  • I think Jelani Woods is the first TE taken off the board and that will be in the backend of R1
  • I don't think Treylon Burks will sniff 1,000 yards receiving in any of his first three seasons.
  • LB Troy Anderson will be taken by the Pats and be one of the better linebackers to come out of this draft class
Gimme yours...

- Jordan Davis will be a JAG in the NFL
- Kaiir Elam will be the best CB from this class
- Pickens will be the best WR from this class

This draft will produce more 10 sack players than any of the last 5

Olave will be a better pro than Jameson Williams

Speaking of Bama WR's Metchie will log an 80 catch season by the end of his rookie contract

Will we come out with one or draft a bunch of receivers and olineman? Smh

I wouldn't be surprised if we punt on WR's if we dont take one in the first. Outside of the top 3, we really shown any interest in others outside some possible late rounders/udfa's during Dallas Day

I could very well be wrong, but if they dont take one at 24, they might not take one at all

Eagles will draft Nakobe Dean early in the first to try and replicate our success with Parsons and fail.

I feel like we may go TE early over WR and go more 12 personnel as part of the pass attack.

I think we could look into a speed receiver (ex. Austin, Gray, Shakir, etc.) on Day 3.

Give me and edge rusher and LG in rounds 1/2 then sprinkle in WR / TE mid rounds.

Here’s another hot take: 0 TEs drafted in round 1.

wr's treylon burks...david bell...romeo doubs will be the 3 best receivers from this draft class.

de michael clemmons will earn at least 1 pro bowl within his first 3 seasons.

og's jamaree salyer...marquis hayes...thayer munford...will be all-pros by year 3.

dt jayden peevy will be one of the best interior dlinemen drafted from this class.

rb hassan haskins will lead the league in rushing at least once in his career.

I am a huge fan of his. I know we have Zeke and Pollard. But I am not made if he is there later and spending a pick on him as Zeke is likely gone next year

0 tight ends drafted until round 3. It's a deep class but there's zero blue chippers.
Logan Hall gets drafted in round 1. Severely underrated player.
Jordan Davis falls all the way to #24 and the Cowboys still won't take him.
Dallas uses 2 of their 4 fifth round selections to move up in both the 3rd and 4th rounds to get "their guy".

- A top 15-17 player will fall to 24
- The Cowboys will draft a WR
- The Cowboys will draft an OG
- The Cowboys will draft a TE
- the top 4 and maybe 5 WRs will be gone by 24

he was one of my favorite backs to watch.

If the Cowboys draft Tyler Smith at 24 the board will have an epic meltdown like never before. Then within two years he will be the best offensive linemen on our team.

The Giants will regret not taking Willis at the 5th or 7th pick.

The Eagles will draft a wide receiver with the 15th pick and he will be a disappointment.

I think Calvin Austin gets drafted in round 2. I’d bet by the Chiefs to replace Tyreek Hill as the rich get richer.

This draft will also be remembered as the springboard for other NFC East teams surpassing us.

I have a combo of OG Green ad Edge Sam Williams in rounds 1 and 2.

And TE Woods or WR Austin or Shakir if any are still there in round 3.
