Bruce Willis ‘stepping away’ from career after aphasia diagnosis

Oh no, this was known well before Kevin Smith talked about it on JRE. You can pretty much google "Bruce Willis rude a-hole reddit" and have tons of reading material, like him having a serious issue with ANYONE making eye contact with him on/around the set.

And Kevin Smith just recanted/downgraded his version just a few days ago? It wouldn't be out of sympathy, now would it?

Again, I wish him well, just something that stuck out to me....

Smith did this long long before Willis recent health issues came to light. He talked about it once on his YouTube channel.

There are lots of stories from lots of sources about Willis and have been that way for years. Started on Moonlighting really. I have heard if you are a friend he will do anything he can for you but everyone else he pretty much pisses on.

After watching several movies that he has made or the last few years, I thought that he had already retired from acting. Critics have been saying that he has phoned in his performances for years now.

The first Red movie was the last one I think he actually tried in.

I saw this morning he has 10 films still to come out this year. The man has been making films like there was a countdown clock.

Yeah, he’s trying to be Nic Cage.
They were feeding lines to him through an ear piece.

Go all the way back to Moonlighting with him when he had hair. He and Cybill Sheapard were a great pair although some say they did not get along, she was a beauty back in the day. He has recently unloaded about $65m in real estate evidently, may be just down to his LA home.

Aphasia is not a diagnosis; shows how ridiculous and uninformed the media is with their click-baiting headlines. He either has a chronic neurological disease going on (Alzheimer's for ex) or had one or a bunch of mini strokes leading to either Broca's or Wernicke's aphasia.

Unfortunately he hasn't really had a great film in about 10 years.

I'm a big Bruce fan. Loved him since Moonlighting. So sad. Prayers to him and his family. :(
Sounds about right; Red came out in 2010 and the second one which was OK if not as good as the first came out a year or so later.

Looper was pretty good. I think that was in 2012. I know he was in Glass which I didn't see. I did see the remake of Death Wish . That one wasn't too bad but not great. It just seemed like his career went downhill all of a sudden. It seemed like he was barely acting in a lot of his later movies. Don't know how long he's been struggling like this.

I see where Nic Cage is trying to make a comeback with his latest movie. The guy is actually a very good actor, but he has poor judgment picking the movie roles.

I still love watching The Rock, Con Air or Gone in 60 seconds, whenever I see them on TV.
