Timb2's NFL Mock Draft 1st Round ,Videos,Reasons 4-8-22

I wonder if the Cowboys would pass on Lloyd if he is there at 24. He might be the highest graded player on their board if he makes it to 24. If he ran a 4.56 forty instead of a 4.66 he might have been a top 10 pick. Reminds me of Devon White.

53- Packers-Christian Watson WR North Dakota State

Reason-Add Watson with 1st pick Garrett Wilson and Packers will be a high scoring offense again

55- Patriots-Alontae Taylor CB Tennessee

Reason- Pat's get a solid physical corner in Taylor who will help the loss of JC Jackson to free agency.

56- Cardinals-Drake Jackson OLB USC

Reason- Chandler Jones is gone and I do not expect Devon Kennard to be the replacement. Jackson has all the ability in the world to be a star.

57- Cowboys- Kenyon Green OG Texas A& M

Reason- Boys get the LG they need. Green is much bigger and violent than Connor Williams was last season. Green can play OT in a emergency situation also.

58- Bills- Trent McDuffie CB Washington

Reason- McDuffie can challenge Levi Wallace for his spot.

58- Falcons-Nik Bonitto OLB Oklahoma

Reason- Lost Daunte Fowler and they need pass rushers immediately

59- Buccaneers- Kenny Pickett QB Pittsburgh

Reason-Bucs need to look for a youthful heir apparent to Tom Brady who almost retired this last season.

60- Packers- Abraham Lucas OT Washington State

Reason-Packers RT spot could be upgraded. Bring in the huge Lucas to compete and win the spot.

61- 49ers- Tyler Smith OT Tulsa

Reason-LT Trent Williams is over 30 and time to groom his replacement. Perfect for Tyler Smith who has ability but needs to work on his technique as a understudy.

62- Chiefs- Logan Hall DT Houston

Reason- Hall would solidify a possible best d- line starting unit. Think about if the Chiefs grabbed Travon Walker in the 1st,Logan Hall in the 2nd and add Chris Jones and Frank Clark. That is a tough group.

63- Bengals- Kalon Barnes CB Baylor

Reason- Eli Apple starts and he has jumped around the league proving to be a disappointment. Barnes has elite speed to cover anyone.

64- Broncos- Lewis Cine S Georgia

Reason- Denver has a history of talented hard hitting safeties. Cine would be next in line to keep up the lineage.

38- Jets- Kenny Walker RB Michigan State

Reason- Jets help Zac Wilson by getting him a solid RB to work with.

39- Bears- Treylon Burks WR Arkansas

Reason- Allen Robinson wants out and Bears do not have much at WR

40- Seahawks- Cam Jurgens C Nebraska

Reason- Upgrade over Austin Blythe at Center.

41- Bernhard Rainmann OT Central Michigan

Reason- Better insurance as the blindside protector. Would let the heavy footed Stone Forsythe slide to RT.

42- Colts- Kellen Dietsch OT Arizona State

Reason- Right now Matt Pryor is slotted to be the starting Left Tackle for the Colts. The guy was in the Eagles camp a year ago. Better get a LT for any success.

Sorry about omitting Bernhard Rainmann's team. It is the Seahawks who have back to back picks

I don't think S Kyle Hamilton is getting anywhere near 21.

I would think you'd be right. And I think the Cowboys take him if he fell to us. Unless someone like OT Penning was still there. But I don't think they pick OT Green if Lloyd is there at 24.

Yeah Broaddus has been saying Green and Zion are basically second round picks with holes in their games. He thinks the Cowboys could be drafting the two Conners again. Bobby Belt has been pumping up Burks. Said he has him rated ahead of CeeDee. I see a tweet that he believes the Cowboys front office and scouts love him too.

Lloyd is not Micah Parsons by a long shot. The only way I draft another LB in the first round is if it is Micah Parsons and there is no Micah Parsons in this draft. If Zion Johnson is on the board along with Lloyd or even Dean I am taking Johnson all day every day. It is a position of need and Johnson can step in and start on day 1. Immediate upgrade.

I don't believe in drafting for need, although I would have fixed the LG problem in free agency, but if a quallity player at a position of need falls to you, you have to take him.

His mock drafts are never remotely realistic. It seems odd to put in the work to post all of those links on a mock that is just silly.
6- Panthers- Leo Chenal MLB Wisconsin
9- Seahawks- Amare Barno OLB/ DE Virginia Tech.
12- Vikings- Chad Muma ILB Wyoming
13-Texans- Alec Pierce WR Cincinnati

If it's what he likes to do, I see no need to knock it whether you think it's realistic or not. Compared to the real thing, most mock drafts end up being unrealistic.

Talented OGs can be drafted later. Like this scenario Kenyon Green in the 2nd. Not much drop-off Zion to Kenyon. Lloyd has talent and he was there. Parsons & Lloyd could both be Pro Bowl LBers. Both could benefit from the other being on the field. If we get Jabril Cox and near before the injury. That is 3 young outstanding LBers. Now add Daunte Fowler and if you have a motivated Demarcus Lawrence. Could be a lot of sacks.

Unrealistic? I got Parsons & Joseph correct per round and Odighizuwa off by a round and also had Chiefs OG Trey Smith rookie starter in my final mock last year.

And how many players were you way off on? Easy to claim your victories, but if you are saying your mock lined up entirely with the draft, I call bull. In fact, you already said you were off on Odighizuwa by a round. That makes it unrealistic.

We fuss and fight over players, saying that's too low or too high to take them while every year we end up being off on a quite a few values. I'm not knocking your mock or efforts. That's just the way it goes. The only thing that bugs me about it is fans getting all puffed up about their own rankings, acting like there's no way so-and-so player gets taken that high or so-and-so player will not be available in that round. Every year proves that wrong.

Sure, there are some players that absolutely should be gone at certain points (like Parsons in the early to mid first round), but others are iffy. I think I got blasted here not too long ago when I mentioned the possibility of us taking Jordan Davis at 24. I think he'll be gone by then because big and fast DTs are always coveted, but there are some draft pundits who have him rated around our spot. Who knows? I won't be surprised if Travis Jones goes higher than expected for the same reason.
