I don't think it would make sense to make a huge jump but if you're talking 4 or 5 spots to secure a player you really want nothing wrong with that.

Probably open to trading down too.
This is not major news, but it does let folks know that his phone is on
Of course they are. They are open for anything. I can't get over how stupid the general public is.

I liked having those 4 5ths for McClay to play with, and will be disturbing if they trade 3 fives and our 24 to move up in this draft.
This draft is not that top heavy, but 2nd and 3rd day steals to be had.
I agree. They aren’t at a position to trade up and get one of the top 10 guys. To get there they are giving up some capital they don’t need to be giving up.

I don’t think Jerry is going to want to give up any draft picks to move up. I believe we’ll stay at 24.

Need the center from Iowa, this years Creed Humphrey...
He’s not going to be nearly as good as Humphrey. We should have taken Humphrey in the second round. I sure hope the CB justifies us taking him over Humphrey, but so far Humphrey would have been a much better pick.

I think is all just Coach Jerry Coach-speak. I think they are more likely to trade down in the first than up. I could see a slight move up in the second or third.

With the number of teams with multiple 1sts in this draft, any trading up is wide open.

CAR does not have a 2nd or 3rd and is a prime trade partner and ATL, GB, HOU, KC, NYJ and SEA all have multiple 2nd's. Would not surprise me for GB and KC to move up for WR's.

Seems like the smoke screen train is speeding down the tracks with Jerry, well probably with every team. Funny the experts only see about 10 guys that could truly be Pro Bowl type guys and yet there seems like supposedly their are some 220 plus guys that are draftable. Lets see now, Schultz still not signed to a long term contract, why, maybe trade bait during the draft, probably not but makes one wonder.

Haven't restructured Smith contract, why, is something up on that front, probably not yet! Going young in the secondary with Diggs, Joseph and Nathan yet we still have Brown and Lewis both with literally one year left, why, could be trade bait, probably not, who knows. Jerry saying looking for a Lamb/Parsons guy but really with only 10 guys that have that type of potential supposedly, so is Jerry really going to spend a fortune in draft picks to move up in the top 10, probably not.

Lots of rumors, spectulations, mock drafts, and really no ones knows what is going to happen.

Let's face it -- Jerry can't resist any opportunity to speak into a mike, whether it's true or not. He's a ham, amongst other things!

Perhaps Jones is concerned - or envious - that the Cowboys' division rivals have five top-20 selections combined.
NYG___5th & 7th
WAS___11th
PHL____16th & 18th

dang and although have not kept up with other teams.....i bet they used off season to "upgrade" instead of "downgrading" their teams?.....just a hunch
