Last season was the breaking point for me. Once Denver pummeled the Cowboys into submission, I knew deep down we were not good enough to advance in the playoffs. Just another Jason Garrett type of season.

Actually, there have been mostly two kinds of seasons ever since the last SB win in 1996. We start slow and end somewhere in the middle. Or we start off hot and fizzle out. Talent level doesn't seem to matter. Oh yes, every few years we bottom out and get a top ten pick.

Hate to say it, but I actually root for a 2-3 year stretch of 2 or 3 win seasons just to get the Cowboys Organization to get real about how bad their front office really is.

For a long time I was a hardcore believer in Kellen Moore and the Boise State way. But he has been ruined by Garrett, McCarthy and the Joneses. I can't do it anymore. And I see the same thing happening to Quinn if he stays long enough.

Nothing short of the Joneses selling the Cowboys is going to turn this around, I'm afraid.

This will never happen as long Jerry and Stephen are running things, they simply don't care how the product on the field looks. Just look at Jerry and his recent announcements - getting this bitcoin sponsor thing going is far more important to him than how crappy his team looks on the field. Free agency and the draft took a back seat.

You’ve been posting ever since the loss to San Francisco in the playoffs so you haven’t reached your breaking point. A few fans who post regularly have disappeared since the playoff loss, those are the ones who’ve reached their breaking point.

Championships would just be a symptom of success for the Owner of the Cowboys. In his eyes, he is on top of the world and the most successful owner in professional sports. It's all about money, power and influence for Jerry. Winning not necessary.

I’ll always love the Cowboys but it’s not enjoyable what they’ve become. I’ll still watch but getting too invested and expecting a SB or even a NFCCG just isn’t in the cards for me anymore.

If it happens, it happens.

Everyone makes their own choices about any team. If they have to win to keep one as a fan, so be it. Being a fan is personal.

I think the unrealistic fans are the ones that cannot manage their expectations and do not realize the fault is not in the team as much. They want to believe so much, they engage in self-selling and there is nothing wrong with that.

The fault of this team is that the owner, through the GM, establishes the culture. And it is not a conducive culture for a bunch of millionaire players that are allowed to think they are special just because they are on that team.

If they have to win to keep you, why in the hell are you still here?

Dallas has some of the worst types of fans. That is the disappointing part.
If you don’t like it, go find another team. Or how about finding something good to say instead of const whining.

Just because someone is a fan of any team doesn't mean they have to be positive about it.

This franchise is different in that there are layers that other fans do not have to deal with on an ongoing basis.

If the Cowboys did not draft so well to hide there other short comings they would be a perennial loser/laughing stock like the Detroit Lions.

They were very fortunate getting Romo as a Free Agent and Dak as 4th round draft pick.

The above has kept them just relevant enough.

But sooner or later not having a legit front office is gonna come home to roost.

As honest Abe stated : You can fool some of the people all the time.
And all the people some of the time.
But you can't fool all the people all the time.

You DO have reading/comprehension issues don't you?

With the losing comes the Joneses and all their BS. Lions fans do not have to deal with that. They lose, their owner hides.

There is no fanbase in any sport that has to deal with what the Cowboys fans have to deal with.
