“Kelvin Joseph did not shoot Cameron Ray,” Barry Sorrels, Joseph’s attorney, said. “Mr. Ray’s death is a tragedy, and Kelvin extends his deepest condolences for the family’s loss. On the night of March 17, Kelvin was unarmed and was not looking for violence. He found himself in a situation that escalated without his knowledge or consent.

“Along with condolences to the Ray family, Kelvin apologizes to the Dallas community for being anywhere near this type of incident. The investigation is ongoing, and we intend to respect the process.”

Sorrels declined to provide any details related to Joseph speaking with police, saying he would address that subject “later and at a more appropriate time.”

We invested a second rounder in this guy and he has a high ceiling. If he can legally get out of this **** then we need to give him a second chance. The next mess up, absolutely get him out of here.
I think the Cowboys will do what you said and who knows maybe he negotiated this weeks ago but have an issue that you know a young man was killed and you just went on with your life worried about getting a jersey number. Not cool bro. Not at all. I am going to have a problem cheering for this dude.

If he in fact is not the one who fired shots and did not want anyone to get hurt like that. Then he absolutely 100% should tell the cops who did it.
no matter, his career hangs in limbo suddenly. Dallas better have a plan B ready. Guess we might see if Wright can be that guy sooner rather than later.

^this statement by KJ is a great start, but he will be disciplined. We MUST have a contingency plan ready.

Not sure what a "thug" is, but I can tell you one thing, Kelvin Joseph is a total moron.
Simple. Historically it's meant a group of criminal thieves. A violent person. A criminal.
Just go to his Twitter feed...been posting left and right like nothing happened.

Now, deletes Instagram (I'm sure on the advice of his lawyer).

This guy's a piece...let him go
Ironically, he posted about the NYC subway thing.

No matter how many problems we may have in our lives right now, none of us are carrying the burden of prison time and forfeiting our only shot in life at tens of millions of dollars.

I can't imagine the stress he's under. Brought it on himself though.

what really is telling, and we see this time and time again, ITS THESE highly talented and paid athletes that "allegedly" are smart enough to attend a university and get "passing grades" somehow, behave like absolute dumbarses routinely, off the field. They all, without fail, behave like low IQ humans. When the talent doesn't outweigh the risk, CUT BAIT. PERIOD.

You're not wrong, though I might have gotten a passing grade or two in school for playing sports.
