Stephen Jones made an interesting comment recently, don’t remember the exact quote but he said we have to trust the development of our own in house OK prospects. Steele has already replaced Collins, they drafted Ball last yr thinking he could be the swing tackle, McGovern had a high 2nd rd grade and Farniok, who looked good against the backup Eagles players in the finale. Let’s also put Biaz on that list as he can still get better with more development. Definitely see a guard starter drafted, but they may rely on in house options to Round out the unit

I said that they are going to draft an interior starter, but round out the rest of the unit with in house players. McGovern is our backup guard moving forward

Well he isnt wrong there, and I've been saying the same thing lately.

People don't want to count on really anyone except Parsons from last year because they haven't "proven it."

When you pass on higher level FA, you need to give your high draft picks a chance and sink or swim with them.

If they don't play especially well, you can always give them a big contract to validate the pick.

I will admit I do like how Green plays after watching Voch’s video. I have a feeling that the Patriots or Packers might scoop him up though before us. Cavanaugh now has Sky Moore as his second receiver. They both love Dean and would pick him at 24. I worry about his lack of athleticism and size. I also worry, it goes for all Georgia defensive players, his defense might have been an all timer. Then again they would have drafted JOK over Parsons last year.

He was outstanding against Bosa and the Chargers and was dominant vs Burns and the Panthers.He did not get exposed until they moved him to Left Tackle against Denver. Not good enough to help us win games??You could argue that Steele saved our season after Collins got suspended.

Dean with our defensive tackles not named Davis/Wyatt, no thank you! Don’t understand the love fest with Moore, he is just a slot receiver and definitely not the 2nd best receiver in this class. More a fringe top 10 guy, Shakir might be a better pro in my opinion
