Not earth shattering news that Dallas has needs on the oline.
Same can be said for every single franchise with various positions

People can talk all they want about what they for sure will do or were going to do, but the 1st round actual results (which is real data not theory) for Dallas have been less predictable than most franchises the last years

I dont care if someone has a different opinion….thats what forums or for.

Thats because great players fell to Dallas. If it wasnt for Surtain and Horn being picked the cowboys wouldnt have had Parsons, heck they even tried screwing that up by trading back lol.

Martin was a tackle. I think hes had a pretty decent career at RG wouldnt you say?

Truly missed the point. Outside of an emergency, he was NEVER going to play anything except Guard and everyone knew it.
I can guarantee you that the boys never considered position flex with his pick as a factor at all.

You’re completely missing what the thread is about. It’s not about Jerry telling the media what our plans are (which I never claimed), it’s about pigeon-holing and telegraphing your needs heading into the draft by not adequately providing yourself a Plan B in free agency.

They did it in 2021 and appear to be doing the same in 2022.

The fact we ended up with a superior player in Parsons doesn’t somehow negate the misguided approach heading into the draft.
