He’ll likely finish the leader in both categories barring an injury shortened career.

Many will consider it just an accomplishment based on the era he’s playing in, but his name will be atop the rankings regardless.

Will be interesting to see how he’s viewed in 20 years.

Romo wasn’t liked very much at this point of his on field career. We just like him now cuz he ain’t the current guy. Dak will probably suffer the same fate until he wins one or the new guy shows up. Whichever comes first.

QB's dont win SB's, teams do.

Those that understand football and QB play like both Romo and Dak.

There is no way Romo could have ever won one with the one way talent and horrid coaching that he had. Dak appears to be suffering a similar fate as did many great Cowboys over the last 16 years.

Different eras
Anyone that plays for any length of time in today's game will be breaking records long-term.

Really, nothing against Romo or Dak, but that is just how it is.
fracking nonsense air Corea. greatest show on turf, all the 3 wr sets the boyz ran and around the NFL i mean the original 88 averaged 20 YPC and the hail Mary was invented and some big time numbers puit up by Irving as well.. era excuse is for trolls

so when players in this passing era have 200k yards rushing, what's that? wrong era i guess.. explain the rookie season zeke had running and his first 3 years in this alleged pass era.. Elway, Farve and many other, how about Jim Kelly and that offense the air Mcnair run and shoot days, they didn't pass a lot?

Passing stats get inflated each era. It’s hard to say Romo was better than Staubach, for example. Maybe at best stats tell a portion of the story. Dak will likely be the franchise leader in all of the above categories. Each new QB seems to surpass the former.

40,000 yards used to be able to get you into the HOF. Without the injuries Romo would have hit that mark. Without Garrett Romo probably could have had a SB. At least that's what us Romo lovers like to think.

He spent his first 5 seasons with Bill Parcells and Wade Phillips before Garrett and he didn’t come close to reaching a SB. He played some of his better playoff games under Garrett.
