Debo and Evan Neal

Yah, it would be nice to see them sign a big time guy one of these years. But I dont want them to do anything stupid.

I think the furthest they trade up is to14. If someone is worth getting there they might do it. But I doubt it.

I think its smoke screen. Jerry is just trying to confuse down the stretch here. He values those picks. I think we are more likely to trade back if anything.

I agree with you. I also think we trade back. Barring maybe LB Lloyd getting to pick 24, I think we trade back. No one we can get at 24 we can't get at 30 or 35. But you never know. It could get exciting if a high prospect drops to 14. Jerry might pull the trigger. But I doubt it.

Putting loyd on our defense along with Parsons would be amazing. And there is another pass rusher that you are looking for as well as a run stopper.

I'm saying the cowboys roster has gotten considerably worse to this point, and since they've been extremely inactive thus far in free agency, the odds of them improving, or even getting back to even via the draft are extremely slim, especially given their draft position. Who are the guys other than Diggs that you're expecting to make the Diggs leap? Micah is already an All Pro and DPOY runner up, he's got a tall order just to remain consistent. Ceedee I hope really makes the leap this year, but even still if he does will just be off-setting the loss of Coop. Who else you looking to? Joseph has a whole heap of obstacles to overcome, Trysten Hill? LVE? McGovern? Where's the burgeoning talent we're going to need to rely on?

Most well run teams draft guys and then churn the roster, not the opposite way. Find me an article anywhere that praises the Cowboys offseason thus far. Please. Because at this point we're putting an awful lot of responsibility on the shoulders of Dante Fowler

Collins, Cooper, Wilson, and Gregory, these are the guys you're so worried about?

Every year is different. Even with the same players each year is different. I wouldn't worry about those losses too much. Wait for the end of the off season to judge properly.

lol, yes! you can minimize the losses, but yes that's what i'm concerned about. I was a big fan of both cooper and randy specifically and would rather have them on the team heading into the draft, than to not have them, and to have done very little to replace them.

I understand your concern. I had it at one point too. But we had both Tank and Gregory out for some time and didn't skip a beat last year. Parsons filled the role. Cooper and Gregory aren't game changers. It was actually some other poster on these boards that brought that to my attention. And not the guy you're arguing with. I don't believe it's a big loss. Lets wait and see. Then we can complain when our final product is revealed.

yeah i don't think the team can't over come losing them, i'd have just preferred to keep them and add to them. so unfortunately for me, i'm stuck on it, and no matter what we do moving forward i'm going to view it through the lens of how the team could have looked w/ coop and randy along with the new additions. and I'm operating from a complain now and potentially be surprised later and eat crow, then to give any of the benefit of the doubt. hoping for the best though

And we wouldn’t pay 20m for Cooper and Deebo wants 25m

Different players. Deebo can line up in the backfield and is more versatile. He's also younger and healthier. Personally, I think we have too much talent on offense to spend so much on one guy, but he's better than Amari.

The last time I went on a rant about the Cowboys offseason was after 2016. I couldn't believe that after a great year the Cowboys did nothing to try to get over the top. Just trotted the same guys 1 year older out there, plus the rookies. That's before I knew this is what they do.

The Cowboys replace and build through the draft. They use FA to fill holes. That's it. Think about it, what great stuff did we do between 2020 and 2021 to go from 6-10 to 12-5? Same stuff. Randy is no Khalil Mack, and Cooper isn't Randy Moss. We'll live.

i mean we got Dak back lol and hit a generational prospect in the draft.

and i wouldn’t be super bothered by standing still, but losing a really good wr, and a talented DE and two starters on the line stings. we also draft 24th it’s worrisome to me. individually maybe none of the moves really move the needle. collectively though they’re valuable pieces except probably connor
