I thought about a wide receiver, but the Cowboys' offensive line is aging. Smith would play right tackle in this scenario. He was a dominant pass-blocker in college, though he can get a little too physical at times; he was called for 12 penalties last season.

30. Kansas City Chiefs — Arnold Ebiketie DE Penn St.
31.Cincinnati Bengals — George Karlaftis DE Purdue
32. Detroit Lions (L.A. Rams) — Lewis Cine S Georgia

That's a pretty brutal G run right before our pick. In this scenario, assuming you can't trade down, Smith might be the only real pick left.

This would be the worst case scenario. Johnson, Green, and Penning all off the board.

The most disappointing thing about this mock draft is all that first round talent going to division rivals.

The guys you see at 12, 13, and 14, those are the guys I think the Cowboys are targeting in a trade up scenario.

OL are going to be drafted earlier than most have projected in this draft.
WIth a weak QB draft, the void gets picked up somewhere, and I fully anticipate OL heavy day one tonight.

Watching last years playoffs made the offensive line urgent. Not that it's not anyway

Jones doesn't like DTs, but wish we change our approach to take DTs in first rounds, find decent gaurds in 2-4 rounds

Based on this mock, if the Boys are eyeing one of the guards, look to NE at 21 for a trade up.
