Mel Kiper said a 3rd or 4th round guy solely based that he only rushed the QB though good at it, but needs to up his run stopping game to be worth the higher pick.
That’s why Kiper rated him there, but in the NFL, you run guys in bunches so they can give 100% all the time. We have lots of DEs who can play the run. Now we have a speed pass rusher for passing downs and for pressure at the end of games when you don’t care about the run. If he proves he can get after QBs, that’s a great 2nd round pick. Besides,he can get bigger and play the run better in time.

Completely different issues. Jaylon had a career threatening injury and Kelvin Joseph fell due to a combination of off field stuff and lack of experience (he played in 20 total games).

We have to be wary of burying another player's career before he even puts on a uniform based on the failures of those before him.

Trysten Hill and Randy Gregory are two others with off the field concerns that panned out pretty much how we expected.

I am going for Rachaad White (RB) if he slips...need to be thinking about the future there.

Anyone else watching ABC coverage? They totally skipped the Cowboys selection and they circled back a few picks later to basically say we drafted Sam Williams. Literally spent 5 seconds on the pick.

He does indeed...freak athlete, but can he keep his nose clean? Time will tell.

Sounds like the kid had a rough upbringing and struggled with immaturity before righting the ship. He points towards his son as his guiding light and the reason for change. Let's hope he can keep himself together now. As much as I'm sick of character risks, he is now our character risk.

Supposedly gets nicked up alot

I dunno, everytime I watched a Georgia game last year, that guy was a monster. Maybe he just wasn't "nicked" up when I tuned in. His drop is insane just from an eye test point of view.

If Chuckles didn't totally screw up the Gregory deal, we would have just drafted a WR....let that sink in for a second....it TOTALLY effected how we will be offensively this year.
Nope….that would have been worse since we just watched the best ones all gone before our pick.
