Not happening and to be honest, if Leighton plays like he did towards the end of last season and Cox has another good training camp, we’re covered at LB not named Parsons.

I still can’t believe we got Parsons. He’s a generational talent.

Neither LVE or Cox are going to improve the run stopping issues that plagued team from last season.

Clowney is the better run stopper over Barr.

There's definitely a glut of "inside" LBs still in FA.

Wright, Klein, Kwiatkoski, Schobert, Trevathan.

Some may be signed post draft but there should be enough going into TC incase of an injury or setback

Nah....the guy Dallas needed is in LA now, Wagner would have given the Cowboys a good two years at least leading the defense with Parsons, talk about impact. Just turned out to be too much for the Cowboys to digest. Still need that run stuffing LB.... LVE ain't it. He can mozey on out of Dodge after this season.

Anthony Hitchens maybe?

The tiny lb we drafted with our last pick will never play defense for us. Only ST.
But they drafted 2 other LBs this year, and 2 last year, so I see his point.

If they were to pick up a free agent I suspect it would be more of a MLB. That's really what they need to help stuff the run in the middle, and to leave Parsons, and now Williams, free to attack the QB.

Sam Williams will be a de for us. While I like clark, he is injured and won't play a down this year.

Barr likely the only free agent they attempt to sign. Could see 11 or 12 rookies making the team if you count the LB from LSU as a PUP guy. The kicker, the safety Bell, and just maybe the Lindstrom the OC think make the squad. Injuries will also tell the tell as there is always a couple in training camp that open up a spot.

Williams may be pure DE, or could be a LB used in pass rush situations similar to how the team used Parsons at times last year. He and Parsons can provide a lot of flexibility with how they attack the passer.

As for Clark, that's true, but they still have Cox and LVE in the mix for this year, and like I said, if they were to pick up a free agent LB expected to play quite a bit my guess is it would be more of a MLB type. They are pretty well stocked on outside and situational LB's.

We still need an ILB.

Do they have room on the roster for him? I think that at least 10 rookies will make the team and Clark will be on the PUP list.
I don't know if they will sign Barr or not, but if they don't you can be sure it wasn't because they felt the need to keep all of these rookies over him.

I'm not sure that Barr can give you anything Williams (or Fowler) can't at this point. He's a progress stopper.

We just signed Anthony Hanford as an UDFA. He decommitted from the Commanders.

Looks like a good player.

He's also the proverbial right kind of guy.

And he can be a beat at pass rushing.
